Chapter 10

Dina had a restless sleep.
Getting up every hour at the slightest of noise and looked in on her mother through the window deviding the two sterile rooms.
"Hey." Johnny said as he wrapped his arms around Dina startling her a bit but she quickly realized it was Johnny and relaxed in his embrace.
"Did I wake you?" Dina inquired with an apologetic tone.
"Nah..." He yawned
"This place is so noisy, it could probably wake the dead." Johnny chuckled.
"Johnny!...
Shhh...
You'll wake the boys." Dina hushly scolded.
They both looked back at Cam and Miles sleeping peacefully.
"You know.
I swear Cam could sleep through an air raid.
Looks like Miles is the same way." Johnny smirked and chuckled quietly. Turning his focus back on Angela also sleeping peacefully.
"I still can't believe this is happening.
Never did I think I'd see her again." Dina silently cried as Johnny squeezed tighter to comfort her.
Or to comfort himself.
Angela was the closet thing he had as a mother for the year she cared for them. The night he thought she just left them was the worst.
What upset him more is that he burried the real reason she was gone.
But Cam knew the reason.
Or did he?
Maybe he was burying it in his own way too.
"How is she?" Johnny whispered breaking their silent tears.
"She seems to be sleeping peacefully." Dina's voice was raspy from her silent cry.
They just stood there silently a moment wrapped in eachothers embrace.
"Johnny you do know I am with Mike now?" Dina broke away slightly to look at Johnny.
He shrugged.
"Yeah I know your in love with Mark but I still care about you.
Your like my big sister." Johnny smirked and winked.
When deep down they knew he cared for her more than that.
"Are you ever going to call him by his name?" Dina playfully slapped Johnny's arm.
"Hmm...
Maybe one day.
When I run out of M names and snarky things to call him." Johnny chuckled, along with Dina.
"Johnny you always, no matter the situation, know how to lift my spirits." Dina chuckled lightly so not to wake the two sleeping beauties.
"Should we try and get more rest?" Johnny asked.
As he rewrapped his arms around Dina.
"Soon." Dina whispered.
Morning detox came all too early for Johnny and Dina.
Cameron and Miles where up, all wide eyed and bushy tailed.
While Johnny and Dina grumbled.
"How late you two stay up?" Cam asked all chipper as he walked over to the window and waved chearfully at Angela who was sitting up in her bed reading her bible.
"Late...
How could you sleep with all the noises going on last night?" Dina grumbled, as she whent to the bathroom for her detox bath.
She was given stirle clothes sealed in a bag as were the guys.
"Oh My Gosh!" Dina yelled causing everyone to jump.
Camila was the one to poke her head in.
"I knew I forgot to mention something... The water is hotter and the pressure is harder than you're use too." Camila said all chipper as the guys chuckled.
"You think!...
And I can hear you boys!
Its not funny!
What if it were you?" Dina half scolded.
Once everyone was through with the shower from hell and each one got to scream causing Dina to chuckle and who ever else was finished or also waiting laughed at the next victim.
They were given one last check up to make sure they were healthy and free from any contagious thing.
Another door was opened that led through a small stirle hallway conecting to Angela's room.
The moment Dina entered the room she ran to her mother and wrapped her in a tearful embrace.
Cam was about to rush up to her but Johnny held him back even though he too wanted.
He knew this moment ment more to Dina than any of them and she needed it most.
"Boys come.
Pull up a chair.
Let me get a better look at you." Angela said as she and Dina sat on the edge of her bed.
"Its nice to finally see you all grown up. I was getting tired of those whiny little voices and runny noses not to mention being shot.
Geesh."
Angela chuckled alone.
"Too soon?" Angela smirked.
"Just alittle mum." Dina stayed snuggled up to her mom.
"But I liked where you were going." Johnny winked and chuckled.
"I knew you'd love it." Angela leaned over and playfully slapped his shoulder.
"Now who is this one?
He looks like you boys.
Did one of you have a son?
Am I a grandmother!?" Angela teased.
They all laughed.
"No not yet...
I don't think so..."
"Johnathan." Dina slaped him upside his head.
"Ouch...
You know your daughter is abusive." Johnny teased rubbing his head.
"I'm Miles.
I'm their baby brother." Miles put out his hand to shake her's.
When she gave Miles her hand he kissed it.
"A gentleman...
Well now I know you weren't raised with theses Neanderthals." Angela teased.
Their catching up and teasing went on for quite some time.
"Sorry to interrupt but Dr.Davis wants to get you cleared for socialization.
Nothing serious.
Just a less sterile room.
Not so confined like this.
You three will also have joint rooms since your detoxed." Camila poked her head in.
"Say Camila...
Why didn't you have to go through detox?" Johnny inquired.
"Those of us who came in...
Well easier put all nurses and Doctors have been inoculated.
We never get sick or anything.
Kinda like immortality but we can still die and all but not from germs." Camila tried to explain.
As they looked at her like she was nuts and way to perky.
"Child you do know how silly that sounds?" Angela said.
"Yes I do.
It takes people a while to understand how things go on here." Camila said as she helped Angela into the wheel chair.
"Yeah we been here well over a month and we still don't get half the things that go on here.
And you can't imagine half the things we seen.
I'm talking about hybrid bats and flying foxes.
oh wait till you meet Crimson.
He's the cutest little fox he just this ball of fur.
But the moment he is in the presence of evil he tranforms into this warrior twice my size." Cam chuckled as he wheeled Angela down the hall.
Camila led the way.
