Chapter 15

You know one would think after the wonderful dinner we had with Kay's parents that better days were ahead...
Heck I was fooled...
Kay came over the next day with tickets to the nutcracker she was excited to take Octavia along with Bellamy and Miles...
Dina took them to buy special clothes and everything for the event...
I opt for staying home...
I hate that play to long, boring and was forced every Christmas to watch it by uncle dearest...
I think Cam wanted to join he always seemed to like it because I think he secretly thought it was about us...
Dad was the rat king of course, Cam also had a nutcracker he fought to get Dad to buy...
So there I was relaxing in the arm chair watching the light snow fall just genuinely enjoying the peace and quiet while Cam relaxed in his room with his new pet...
There was a loud thud at the doior I just had to investigate...
Before the lock cleared the door was pushed into me with such force it nocked me over...
By the time I had a chance to get to my feet the intruders were inside...
The moment my eyes locked onto the leader of the group I nearly fainted...
Yes fainted...
I know it sounds so sissy but if you been following you'd understand...
I couldn't believe my freak of an uncle was standing in my home and his goons were attacking me...
All the commotion alerted Cam...
One thing led to another next thing I knew my knee was smashed by a metal bat that Cam intended on using for protection...
At some point I passed out...
I woke up on the floor hand cuffed to the foot of my bed...
Luckily my note book was tucked under my mattress so I could pass the time...

When Johnny came too he relized he was handcuffed to the foot of his bed on the floor.
His leg was in a desent splint to support his injured knee.
He could hear Cam scream out in pain as he was clearly being beaten.
All Johnny could do was listen helplessly.
The cuffs were pick proof he figured that out when he tried to pick the locks.
"I bet this is why Cam failed at times." Johnny mumbled to himself as he faild for the twentieth time trying to get free.
Eventually he gave up.
The emence pain and throbing in his knee was almost unbearable.
He decided to write for hopes Dina would find it and know what happened.
Johnny quickly rehid the book as his door opened.
"Where's Cam!?
What did you do to him!?"
Johnny yelled as he watched Alexander wipe his hands off on a white rag.
Alexander tossed it at Johnny.
Who became ill at the sight of the blood soaked rag.
"What did you do to him!?
CAM!"
Johnny scream right before he got slammed in the head.
"He's alive!...
For now....
Johnathan for the sake of Cameron's
life you better cooperate."
Alexander ordered as he gipped Johnny's jaw to keep his focus on him.
"What do you want?" Johnny asked in defeat.
"That jade necklace.
I know one of you took it.
Now obviously Cameron is completely oblivious to it.
But I saw that look in your eyes the moment I mentioned it.
Now where is it!?"
Alexander practically spat has he tightened his grip on Johnny.
"I'm not telling you."
Johnny chuckled.
Knowing or well thinking the moment Alexander got his hands on the necklace that would be the end of them.
"You will if you don't want me to go back to Cameron."
Alexander sneered as he showed Johnny footage of Cam lying on his back on the floor also cuffed to his bed by both wrists.
All Johnny could focus on was the amount of blood on Cam's face and the floor.
If anyone wouldn't know better the would think it was a massacre with no survivors.
Relief washed over Johnny as he saw Cam take a breath and move.
"Now last chance...
Where is that Jade necklace!?"
Alexander growled.
"Closet, top shelf, in a small cedar box."
Johnny said half in tears as he looked down at the cellphone lying on the floor still displaying Cam.
"Move him to the living room.
Get his brother too."
Alexander ordered his men.
"I'm sorry Johnny."
Cam whispered as he leaned on Johnny for support.
"You didn't do anything Cam."
Johnny trailed off because his attention was drawn to the door as the lock opened.
They were home from the play.
"Looks like were about to have company.
Now if you want them to live and not be drug down this rabbit hole with you do everything I say and I'll spare them."
Alexander said as he point his dagger in the center of Cam's neck.
"Anything!..
Just please leave them out of it." Johnny pleaded as he got in between Cam and Alexander.
"Well here's the thing Johnny.
I can't exactly leave here without your baby brother so trust me he will be joining us.
But those half breeds...
Well I'll spare them and the rest of your friends if they don't cause trouble."
Alexander sneered.
Miles was the first to enter with Jordan behind they were goofing around but stopped the moment they saw Cam and Johnny gagged in the living room.
"Cam, Johnny?"
Jordan questioned because no one was around that he could see but the fear in Miles eys said he saw.
Suddenly like a flash Miles was grabbed but he instinctively grabbed onto Jordan and they both vanished.
"Looks like its time for us to exit.
Unfortunately your geek of a friend is joining us.
Blame your baby brother for that one." Alexander teased as he gripped onto Johnny's shoulder with such strength it made Johnny whimper.
By the time the rest of their friends and family entered the Archive no one was around.
"Oh come on Jordan, Miles?
They probably whent to tell Cam or Johnny all about the blooper." Dinna teased as she tossed her coat on the couch.
Octavia practically skipped down the hall to show Cam her nutcracker.
"Ahhhhhhh!..."
Octavia just screamed as she staired at the blood soaked floor.
Gunter was the first to reach her.
Octavia colapsed in his arms as she cried hystericaly.
It took him a moment till he saw what frightened the poor girl.
He carried her back to the living room.
"Kay..." Gunter cleared his throat.
"What is it Gunter!?" Kay looked at Gunter with such fear she didn't need him to say.
Gunter tried to stop her from going to Cam's room but she took off.
Dina and Bellamy stood there looking at Gunter for answers.
"Dina no...
You don't want to go in there!" Gunter tried to stop her but Dina broke away.
"Kay...
No!
What happened!?..."
Dina was speechless.
Kay was about to call for backup but realized it was pointless.
"It was Alexander."
Bellamy blurted as he walked in with Johnny's note book.
"Were did you find that?
If Johnny knew..." Dina snached the book and retreated to Johnny's room.
"Its okay Bell she's just upset..."
Kay was distracted by yelling on the street it was John and H.G. their cab just dropped them off.
They were under attack by invisible entities.
Octavia tried to run to get out and help but Gunter held onto her tightly.
Unfortunately Bellamy was to strong for Kay.
He ran out and down the stairs.
In a blink of an eye they were gone.
"Kay..."
Dina whispered as silent tears passed threw them all as they helpless stared out on the now empty
streets below...
