All of the graduation celebrations were over. It was officially back to life, back to reality. No longer a student, I was officially a primary school teacher.

During my final year of university, I was mainly on placement in a primary school and they loved me! The head teacher promised, me that as soon as I graduated there was a spot open for me. I received the email that I started tomorrow, which is Wednesday.

I will be going into a career, I have always wanted to do since I was in primary school myself. When I was in primary school, around 7 years old, that was when I realised I wanted to be a primary school teacher. After school, on the weekend, and during the holidays when I was home. I would sit all my teddies on the floor, name all of them and pretend they were the children in my class.

My mum would be so angry with me, because she would bring notepads home from work and I would use them all as a register and my 'teacher book' for my class. I would spend hours and hours talking to my dolls and teddy bears, reading them stories, teaching them maths, and english, we would even sing songs together.

Fast forward to now, I am officially qualified to teach. I get to teach 30 eager children five days a week, I got goosebumps every time I thought about  it. I am so proud of myself, and the things it has taken to get here, I am grateful to God.

It was a freezing cold November morning, I was snuggled up wearing my orange hoodie, black shorts with knee high socks. I had a cup of hot chocolate  next to me on my desk whilst I lesson planned.

I aimlessly scrolled through snapchat, after 40 minutes of working. I was now procrastinating messing around with snap filters. I felt cute, and really needed a  break from working, my head was throbbing I felt like my brain was being torn apart.

As well as feeling excited, I also felt nervous about teaching my first class solo tomorrow, for the whole day. My whole family are hard workers, my mum is a successful lawyer. My dad is a successful business man, working in trading. My sister is an up coming singer, so I have always had inspiration all around me.

I jumped from the vibration under my thigh, I picked up my phone to see Daniel calling.

I smiled so big, and answered "hi Daniel, how are you?"

"Good morning Mila, so sorry I didn't manage to call you last night, I had to finish learning my lines... Sooo what are you up too?" he said.

"Lesson planning, and taking selfies I guess" I said giggling, as I realised I sounded silly.

"Feel free to send me some pictures". Daniel said, with a flirty undertone to his voice .

I could hear the happiness, and playfulness in his voice too, but I instantly got a sharp pain in my stomach, as I had a flashback of Calvin asking me for pics in a similar way.
