Thursday 9.15am- 'Snoh- I want you around' played softly through my bedroom, as I stripped off my old bed sheets and tidied my room. I was in a good mood, 'I want you around, around, I want you around' I sang as I kicked my dirty bedding's into the corner of my room by the door and put on a clean creme coloured Bella and Bloom bed sheet.
There were four days left until Andre and Kevin's annual New Years party. I always looked forward to Kevin and Andres parties, celebrating a new year with close friends was always the best way to start a brand new 12 months. After the year I've had, I definitely needed to party, and start a fresh. Once I put on the last cushion cover on to my duck feathered pillows, I took off my pyjamas and threw them onto the wash pile of dirty washing by my door and walked into my bathroom to get ready for the day.
"Mils do you want some Porridge?" Mum shouted.
"No thank you mum" I yelled back, mid mouthwash gurgle.
Once I was dressed and ready, I topped off my look , with some light make up. Nars foundation, concealer, burgundy eye shadow , winged liquid liner, mascara and fenty gloss. The no makeup, makeup look was my go to for a busy day. I picked up my bag and made my way down the stairs.
10.37am- "You do need to eat before you go out Mila. It's cold out I don't want you to get sick," Mum said biting into a piece of toast.
"Mum" I whined. "I'll eat whilst I'm out it's all good, actually look". I said as I picked up a banana peeled it, and took a bite showing the chewed up banana in my mouth to her.
"Have some manners" Dad said looking up from his news paper in disgust.
"Bye!" I loudly stated as I put my jacket on and left the house. 'On my way to Lewisham now hun.' I texted Indie.
'Leaving my house right now sis' Indie replied.
I started my engine and whilst waiting for the car to heat up I snapped a selfie. I revamped my twists this morning, using the olive oil mousse, also my make up came out better than expected so I couldn't let this look to to waste.

I put my seat belt on, 'Destiny's Child- T-shirt' began to play and I started my drive. As I was driving down Lewisham Way high road I was met with standstill traffic. I sighed loudly as I was going to be late, I opened my window and strained my neck to try and see what was causing the build up. 'Flipping roadworks' I said to myself, as I sat back in the car and closed my window.
Beeep! A loud horn took me out of my thoughts. "It can't be me someone is beeping like that," I looked in my rear view mirror annoyed, just when I was ready to gear myself up to shout and cause a fuss , I started to laugh. It was Indie, I playfully raised my middle finger up at her and as I turned back to the main road, the traffic began to move.
10.40am- We lost each other on the way, as cars over took me and cars over took Indie but we finally made it to Costco. I took a picture of Indie before we walked in to post on my snap for memories sake.
