Thursday 8.15am-
"More tinsel please", I shouted down to Jess from the ladder as I decorated the classroom. Tomorrow is the last day of work, for two weeks. I looked forward to getting some rest!

"Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday". Jess sang, as the song played in the background. I nodded my head, trying to balance on the ladder and dance, I remained focused so that I did not fall.

"When the bells ring out for Christmas". Jace sang, walking past our class room to his.

Jess and I laughed, as I climbed down the ladder. I looked around the classroom, at how good it looked. Pink, gold, blue, silver, red and green tinsel travelled around the classroom walls. I also decorated, the windows with spray on Christmas trees and snow flakes, it looked so pretty.

I was so sure my classroom was the best decorated in the whole school. My favourite part of the classroom Christmas makeover, was  our classroom door. The children, Jess and I decorated the door as a ginger bread house, and it looked incredible.

12.30pm-
I brought a packed lunch today, I had a lot of work to do today especially as school was closed for 2 weeks after tomorrow for Christmas break.

So today I decided to work through my lunch break, and I will do the same tomorrow. I bit into my homemade chicken salad wrap, wiping the corners of my mouth when I saw my classroom door open.

"Knock, knock" Jamie said, walking in with a sandwich from Subway. He looked so hot and flustered as if he had been rushing, his cheeks were all pink, and his curls under his hat were flat onto his forehead from all the sweat.

"May I sit?" Bradley asked, starting at me with anticipation.

I stared back at him for a bit, I raised an eyebrow and tapped my pen on my chin, making it look like I was thinking really hard. "Yeah sure", I said.

"Wow, I thought you were going to say no" Bradley said laughing, whilst taking off his hat, jacket and scarf.

"I mean you did ask so nicely" I said, laughing  as I took another bite of my wrap.
