This is Love.

Chapter 21.

Monday-
I pulled down my dress, as I walked into Anna Barnes office. I wore a burgundy midi sleeveless dress, with heels today and wrapped my braids up neatly into a top bun. We were having an OFSTED inspection today, and I wanted to look my best.

"Make sure you stick to your lesson plans, and don't do anything differently or new. Keep the children engaged, and make sure they are on their best behaviour" Anna said.

"We've got this team" Bradley said, whilst clapping and encouraging us all to clap with him too.

This was my first inspection as an official teacher. I felt so nervous, I tried to stay calm by taking deep breaths and praying in my head.

As soon as I walked into my classroom, Jess gave me a hug.  "Mila, you know we have the best class in the school right we will pass", she said.

I gave her a cuddle, "thanks babe I'm so lucky to have an amazing assistant like you. Honestly, you make my job so much more enjoyable so thank you".

"Good luck ladies. You both look lovely by the way", Bradley said admiring, as he walked into my classroom but only looked at me.

"Thank you", I said as I started to write up the lesson plan for the morning. I really did not have the time to deal with Bradley today, he was at the bottom of my list.

Quite upset that I hadn't heard from Daniel, but I knew he was equally as busy so I left him alone.

4.30pm
"WE GOT OUTSTANDING!" Anna said  jumping up and down. All the staff had gathered in the hall at the end of the day for the results of the OFSTED inspection. We all hugged each other, Bradley walked over to me with his arms wide open.

"You know you want too" he said, smirking.

I was so happy that I did not even care. I gave him a big hug, "well done" he said as he pressed his lips to my cheek and gave me a kiss.

I smiled, uncomfortably and walked off quickly back towards Jess and Jace. During my first few months at this school, I had formed a really close relationship with Jace and Jess. They were my work brother and sister, I loved them.

5pm
I really missed Daniel today. I could not wait to share the good news with him, so straight from the school I drove to his house. I picked up food, Nando's to be exact on the way, 26 minutes later I arrived at this house .

His car was parked outside which made me smile knowing he was home, I rang the door bell and waited. He finally came to the door, and he was on the phone I smiled at him, but he turned his back to finish his phone call. No smile or anything, I dismissed it as he looked quite annoyed about something, I served up my food and his.

He was  sitting on the sofa now, after pacing for the past 10 minutes. I placed the food on his lap, "hold on" he said to the person on the phone and put his phone on mute.

"I'm not hungry, please take it back". Daniel said through gritted teeth, as he gave the plate back to me with no eye contact. He then continued his phone call.

I took the plate and slammed it down on the kitchen surface, he quickly turned around to look at me with a scowl. I returned a raised eye brow stare, in other words 'what?'

At this point I was annoyed, I appreciated the fact that he was working fair enough, but I bought him food. I had driven all the way to his house, to spend time with him and share my good news, and this is how he wanted act?

I wasn't having it. I finished up my food, tears falling from my eyes as I felt so hurt. I did not even realise the tears were falling, until they hit my phone screen.
