Daniels POV: Date night-
I sat at my desk still thinking about Mila I felt bad about making her upset last night but I was super stressed.

She came over to share her good news, and I snapped at her. I guess that is what comes with being in a relationship, it's not everyday happiness, smiles, love and roses there are arguments and fall outs too.

I distracted my mind, by getting on with work I had so much to do. I needed to find a way to sort out this client.

I had to also find a way to make it up to her. I was now on my lunch break, so I looked into things I could do for a last minute date night besides a dinner.

Scrolling through google, I found that tonight there was an outdoor cinema screening of 'The Hate You Give'. Perfect! I bought tickets, and was excited to leave work, cause all I wanted right now was cuddles with my baby.

I finished my last spread sheet for the day, and sent my last email. I checked the time it was 4pm. It was home time, that's what I loved about the 6.45am shift. That 4pm finish was so sweet, I sent a text to Mila telling her to be ready for 8pm and drove home.

'Skepta and ASAP Rocky- Praise the Lord', started to play as I turned on the engine and I nodded to it until  I got home.

I warmed up some chicken noodles, and ate that whilst catching up on 'Brooklyn 99' before I had a shower and got ready for tonight.

Showered and dressed I was ready to go out, checking the time on my phone it was 7.23pm. I made my way to Mila's, I quickly stopped at Asda. I picked up some flowers, freshly made baguette, and walked to the cafeteria and bought two hot chicken soups.

It's cold out, and I wanted us to have a hot meal whilst watching the movie.

As soon as I pulled up to Mila's house. I saw her leaving with Kevin. 'They're Just friends, they're just friends' I repeated over and over in my head, to avoid getting annoyed, seeing Kevin with my girl. I flashed my car lights to let her know I was outside. I got out the car, and stood by the car with flowers.

She ran over to me kissing my lips, and gave me a hug. Kevin looked awkwardly, and  territorially said "hey man look after my best friend". He shook my hand firmly, as he walked passed me to his car.

As he said goodbye to Mila, he told her he loved her but looked over at me, insinuating 'she's your girlfriend but she's my best friend. I've known her longer no, matter what she will always be mine'.

I opened the door for Mila to sit down, before I got into the car, and drove to Telegraph Hill Park.

She did not know where we were going, and was full of questions. As the music played whilst, we drove through London city. Mila wrapped her arm around mine, resting her head on my shoulder. I kissed her hand every chance I got until we arrived at Telegraph Hill Park.

Once I parked up, I looked over at Mila's face she looked so happy, that was all I wanted. We both decided to stay in the car, as it was freezing cold.

I got out of the car to get our food, and we ate together whilst the movie began. Mila's smile had not dropped since we arrived, I just watched her as we ate realising how blessed I was to have her.

I took out the biggest blanket I could find from inside my boot, Mila and I sat up on the bonnet to enjoy the rest of the film sitting under the stars. I looked over at Mila, and she was bawling. I chuckled and wrapped my arms around her, wiping a tear as it fell down her cheek.
