This is Love.

Chapter 11.

Waking up, my eyes were stinging as I had not slept due to Daniel's question spinning through my mind all night.

My phone had been off since the party, I got home so late. Daniel left the party soon after he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I left him standing outside. I felt too scared to go back to him, and give him an answer.

I saw him leave,  and felt bad but I made no efforts to stop him.

Since Calvin, I was not sure if I could let my guard down around another male romantically so soon. I did not want my heart, and my love to be taken for granted ever again.

As I lay in bed, I mentally recapped on what happened last night....

'I went back outside, once Daniel left and danced the night away with Andre and Kevin. Indie's cousins joined us, they were so cool.

The sweetest moment of the night was when Indie shared a dance with her parents.

I drank so many shots, and cocktails to clear my mind from Daniel. I started to feel sick, Andre looked over at me and saw that I did not look so good.

He took me to lie down on the sofa. About an hour or so later, I felt the sofa sink. I opened my eyes gently to see Indie sitting down, smiling at me.

"What am I gonna do with you?" She asked laughing.

I smiled at her, and she helped me to sit up. "Here", Kevin said as he passed me a bottle of water.

"Let's go home" Andre said, helping me to stand. Andre, Kevin and I said our goodbye's to Indie's family and friends. Indie saw us off to the door, saying "I love you guys so much. My gang, my family, get home safe especially you Mils and we'll speak later". We group hugged , and walked to Andres car.

I would have slept over at Indies last night, but she had so many family members it would of been so crowded.

I rested my head on Kevin's shoulder, during the car journey back. I wasn't feeling sleepy, but I closed my eyes to avoid any conversation. I didn't want it.

Finally we got to my house, Kev and Dre walked me to my door. "I love you", I said as I hugged them both. "Sleep well and we'll talk later, love you". Andre said.

"Love you" Kevin said as he winked and walked back to the car'.

I was so surprised that I remembered last night so well, my head was currently pounding.

"MILA! CHURCH!" Isla shouted.

"Cominggg!" I shouted back, covering my head with my duvet. 'These winter mornings, in the UK are no joke' I thought to myself as I turned on the heater.

I turned my phone on to see a text from Daniel, at 3am with just a question mark.

I went on to Instagram, and scrolled through the timeline to see a whole bunch of Indie living her best life on her birthday videos and pictures. I liked every picture with a smile on my face, my phone lit up 'Face time call from bestie'.

I answered, placing my teddy over my face. "Get that teddy off your face right now, we've seen each other naked mate stop acting", Indie said.

Indie was so vulgar, she made me cringe so bad.

"Why are you like this?" I said laughing, because she also had a hilarious face mask on but I also kept a disgusted look on my face.

"Last night you got pretty wasted sis? And Daniel came over to give me a hug, saying bye when he had only been at the party for less than 2 hours. What happened?" Indie said staring.
