Part 25:Telling Them

Camila's POV:

After our conversation with Simon and after we discussed about our ''boyfriends'' me and Lauren went to my house.Hopefully my parents were at work so we were alone.We were both sitting on my bed but none of us was talking so I decided to break the awkward silence.

''We need to tell about us to the girls.'' I said decisively.

''What?Why?'' Lauren asked.

''They are our friends Lauren..they have the right to know the truth.I'm so tired of all this.I'm tired of lying and hiding..especially from them.To be honest,I don't think we'll be able to keep it secret for a long.Sooner or later they will find out about us..'' I explained.

''Yes..you're right..'' Lauren finally admitted.

I smiled at her and then quickly grabbed my phone and called Dinah..

''Hey Dj..'' I said.

''Hi babe..'' she said.

''I need to talk to you..'' I said.

''About what?'' she asked worried.

''Can you come at my place?''

''Of course.Is it about you and..?'' she asked warily.

''Yes..it's about me and Lauren.'' I said and took a deep breath.

''I'm coming..'' she said and I could feel her smiling even though I couldn't see her.

I hang up the phone and then me and Lauren waited for her to come.After a couple of minutes she knocked the door.We both ran to the living room and opened it.Dinah looked at us confused and then smiled.

''Hey Camren.What did you want to tell me?'' she laughed.

I slapped her arm playfully and she laughed even harder..

''We want to tell to Mani and Ally about us..'' Lauren explained.

''Are you sure?'' Dinah asked.

Lauren looked at me askance.

''Yes..we are.'' I said quickly.

''Okay.So,when are you going to do it?'' Dinah asked again.

''Now..right now.'' I said because I knew that sooner or later Lauren would change her mind.

''I don't think I can..'' Lauren said.

''We have to baby..'' I said and wrapped my hand around her waist.

''I can talk to them if you want to..'' Dinah said.

''Can you act like you don't know about it?If they see you're fine with our relationship I'll guess you will influence them positively..'' I said.

''Okay..'' Dinah said excited.

I smiled and grabbed my phone to call Ally and then Normani.After half an hour we were sitting all together on my bed.

I stood up and Lauren looked at me terrified.I went close to her and I held her hand.

''Come on baby..'' I whispered.

She nodded and she stood up next to me..

''Guys,I need to tell you something..'' I started.

I could feel Lauren breathing heavily next to me..

''We're really close now so I think I can trust you..'' I continued.

''Of course you can..'' Ally smiled.

I took a deep breath and spoke again..

''Me..Me a-nd La-Lauren..'' I started.

Lauren held my wrist tightly.

''What?'' Normani asked.

''We're..lovers.'' I said avoiding to look at them.

''Oh,that's amazing..'' Dinah said and hugged me.

'Awww,you're cute..'' Ally agreed.

''So?Are guys okay with it?'' I asked happily.

''Of cou..'' Ally started to say but she cut off by Normani.

''No.No we're not..'' she said angrily.

''Wh-what?What are you talking about?'' Dinah asked.

''It's not fine.It's dangerous..they will ruin everything.'' she yelled.

I looked at Lauren scared.I knew she couldn't deal with the situation..

''Stop it Mani..It doesn't have to do with us.'' Ally said.

''Of course it does.I have dreams..and I won't let you ruin them because of your stupid love.'' she said and left the room slamming the door behind her.

Ally looked at us worried.

''It's fine.We'll talk to her..'' she said.

''No it's not fine..'' Lauren whispered,ran downstairs and left the home.

''Fuck..'' I said and tried to follow her but Dinah didn't let me.

''Give her some space..'' she said and hugged me.

''She'll be okay..'' she continued.

''She won't..'' I thought and a specific thought came to my mind terrifying me..
