I sat across from the Genaro's and smirked to myself. Though I had grown quite fond of Bryson and his stoic behaviour, I couldn't set aside the fact that our merger was solely for business.

We were seated in the boardroom with snacks of all sorts set in front of us and a bottle in front of our seats. On my right side was Bullet and on my left were Blade and Zeus. Across from me sat Bryson and Damien.

"How much longer do we have to wait?" Bullet asked in annoyance.

We had been waiting for the past hour for the Genaro's attorney. The Genaro's insisted that nothing could be signed until he arrived. At first we considered to cancel the entire thing because of the Genaro's tardiness, but we kept our patience in check and waited with them.

"He said that he's arrived. Must be on his way now." Damien said nervously, typing wildly on his iPad.

"Such unprofessionalism. How on earth can we do business with such?" Bullet grunted again, he was never a fan of the deal, no matter how appealing my plan was.

"Please..." I whispered to him, "... calm down. Your negativeness isn't helping with the situation either."

"Do they really think that we do not have our own business to attend to. I've had to cancel a meeting because of this shit."

"I get that but we should at least see what we can do with this situation."

"What do you mean?"

"Increase twenty by five, or even ten." I grinned, and he returned the gesture. It was obviously going to be used for our advantage, I wasn't going to let the Genaro's off the hook so easily.

Suddenly a tall man rushed into the office with his suitcase and files in hand. He had dusty blonde hair and brown eyes and pimples all over his face.

"I'm so sorry for being so late... traffic was a nightmare and..."

"... its ok. You're here now." Damien assured him, assigning him a seat next to himself which was across from a snarling Bullet.

I looked at the man closely and realised just how nervous he looked. His hands were still shaking, which he tried to hide from me, and his eyes just wouldn't meet mine even though mine wouldn't move from him. He knew that I was staring, but he didn't do anything about it.

"This is our attorney, John Jens." Damien introduced him with a smile on his face and I squinted my eyes closely at him. I knew that name, Jens, it was familiar somehow and from somewhere.

I took a moment and stole a glance at Blade who was also assessing the attorney in front of us. If Blade could recognise him, then it meant that he wasn't here by a coincidence. Blade leaned back on his seat and my suspicions were proven wrong. We didn't know who this man was.

"Nice of you to finally join us, Mr. Jens, I'm Dakota Carmichael. Head of the legal department of Throne and the King family's attorney." Our own attorney, who had arrived an hour ago, introduced herself strictly.

I had known Dakota for over twenty years and what I knew about her was that she never backed away from a fight. Which was why I insisted that she be here, if they wanted to fight about the contract we drew up, they'd have to deal with her.

"Pleasure is all mine. Now... can we begin?"

"Of course. But before we do that, I believe my client, Ms. Hera King, had a few words to speak." She suggested, catching the meaning of the glances I had been giving her.

"Yes, thank you Dakota. I do have a few words. We, as the King family, are very upset. Your attorney's tardiness has pushed us to believe that this meeting wouldn't be worthwhile if only twenty percent were on the table."
