Blade
She was gone. He was gone. Two lovers, side by side, now on the floor and bleeding to their death. He should've stayed where we were, with the men. But because he saw that his better half was in danger, he jumped in an instant and took a shot for her. They both got shot in front of our eyes.
There was smoke coming out of Maureen's gun as she fumed from the two triggers she just pulled. She killed two innocent lives all because she was slightly pushed. That was evil.
The hand that had been gripping on young Claudia Jr. loosened itself and put its hands on the owner's mouth. We all watched in shock at the two people who were now shot dead through the brain.
Zeus and Hilary.
"What have you done?" Estelle asked in horror at Zeus' now cold body which was holding Hilary in his limp arms.
"Stop sulking and do what we agreed on!" Maureen barked at Estelle who was now kneeling in front of the two bodies, extending her arms out to touch Zeus, her brother's first born son.
"He's gone." She said in a whisper.
"So? We were going to kill tonight anyway. Two birds with one stone."
"He is my brother's child. Charles' son. Do you have any idea what you've just done?"
"Estelle... don't go weak on me now." Maureen chuckled, and suddenly, Estelle attacked.
Estelle jumped up and on top of an unsuspecting Maureen, continuously banging her head against the floor while strangling her at the same time. Estelle looked like she was being driven by pain and anger and I just kept my eyes on how her tears fell onto Maureen's face while she destroyed Maureen.
Damien came to his aunt's aid, pulling Estelle off with the help of three other guards. Estelle was kicking and screaming and Maureen was on the floor, coughing and shaking violently. Something in me told me that this lady was a little crazy in the head.
"YOU KILLED ZEUS! YOU MURDERED MY NEPHEW!" Estelle screamed while being pulled out of the room.
Maureen was also helped up and out of the room, limping slightly while bleeding from her nostrils. I didn't feel bad for her one bit.
"Mommy? Daddy?" Mason asked softly and the reality kicked in. They were really gone.
"No." Sarah cried and Bhavani was the first to move, she crawled to Hilary's body and uncurled her open to get a wailing Jason out. The bullet in Hilary's forehead was now causing internal bleeding and Zeus was shot right above his left eye.
I was absolutely numb. Zeus was a son to me. And now he was dead. Gone and never coming back. He was never going to see his sons grow to be strong and powerful leaders like himself.
Hilary was never going to be able to see her children get married. She would never laugh again, cry again and complain about Claudia again.
They were a match made in heaven. The day when Zeus beat me to a pulp for her, I knew that he was definitely in love with her. Their love went beyond any measures. They lived the same life. They breathed the same breath. They loved each other more than what was humanly possible. Zeus didn't care about anything else in that moment but his wife and making sure that she was safe. Now they were both gone. Forever.
