 Chapter Five: Casa de Knight

"Samantha!" Axel's voice called from behind me, and shortly afterwards he grabbed hold of my arm turning me to face him.

"What?" I snapped turning around to face him, and he narrowed his eyes at me as he curled his lip up.

"I just came out here to check on you, you don't have to act like a bitch." He replied harshly, and I slowly loosened my sneer as I realized he was right.

Wait!

Did I just say Axel Knight was right about something?

Sighing heavily, I ran a hand threw my hair removing the fly aways from my face. "Sorry, I just can't believe he said that to me." My voice cracked towards the end as tears built-up in my eyes.

"It's alright Sammie, I understand." He replied back, and I found myself surprised by his soft tone.

I shook my head. "No it's not alright, and I was an idiot to even think this would work. This was a dumb idea."

A long moment of silence passed between us, and I glanced up at the sky when I felt something wet hit my cheek. Thick gray clouds blocked any ounce of yellow sunlight, and made the world appear to match my mood . . . gloomy and angry.

I hate storms.

But I love rain.

"Looks like it's going to rain princess, we better get indoors somewhere. Where do you want to go?" He asked me softly as he tangled his hand in mine while I had to remind myself he was only doing this because of the deal.

I swear my heart's an idiot sometimes.

"Anywhere." Was my only reply as we made our way over to his black jeep, and I climbed inside buckling my seatbelt.

"Well, Casa de Knight we go." He stated ruffling his hair as he started the car flipping on the radio.

"Huh?"

"House of Knight . . . my house." He told me, and watched me for any kind of reaction that may  suggest I disagreed with the destination.

But I smiled reassuringly. "Casa de Knight it is."

We pulled into the driveway of probably the most luxurious house in the town.

It was a huge three story place with lots of windows, and looked alot like one of those smart houses that some artist had designed it was so oddly sculptured, but beautiful and extremely white.

"You live here?" I questioned in awe as I undid my seat belt following him out of the car.

He chuckled. "Yep."

"Seriously?" I questioned him incrediously as I followed him up to a huge oak door.

"Yep." He mimicked once again popping the "p" as he opened the door.

If I thought it was beautiful from the outside words couldn't even begin to describe the inside of the house. They had to have spent over a million dollars on this place altogether.

"Your house is beautiful." I told him as I followed him into what appeared to be the kitchen.

He shrugged nonchalantly. "I guess, it's always been just a bit too much for me."

That surprised me, but I made sure not to let him see that as I nodded my head understandingly.

"So princess what do you want to do?" He asked me as he leaned against a wall crossing his arms over his chest as he stared at me.
