Chapter Twenty-eight: The Woods
We arrived at the camping site exactly three hours after we left the school, and let me tell you . . .
It was not a fun ride.
I somehow ended up situated between Tyler and Axel who would not stop bickering, while Jason and Emma were seated in front of us making out every now and then.
It was awful.
So when we finally reached the place my bags and I were the first off of the bus.
I almost kissed the ground that's how happy I was to be away from the madness.
I will never forget my ear buds again.
"Okay form a circle so you all can be given your cabins. Unfortunately there will be one co-ed cabin, so there will be provided supervision." Mr. Wilson said, and I watched as a couple senior guys from the football team shoulder bumped each other.
"Okay for the co-ed we have Samantha Hastings, Gage Hilcrest, Ryder Knight, and Jason Cole." I looked over at Axel, and he looked beyond pissed.
"Why am I the only girl?" I complained, and Jenna St. Whore scoffed.
"I'll trade with her Mr. Wilson!" She volunteered, and I rolled my eyes.
"I'd rather Sam over Jenna any day." Gage commented smirking as he looked me over with appreciation.
"Watch it Gage." Tyler warned his friend, and Gage shrugged.
"Just being truthful, your sister is hot." I grabbed Axel's hand and squeezed it as he moved to say something.
"We could substitute one guy, uhm Gage switch with Claire." Mr. Wilson said, and Tyler cursed.
"Hell no!" He said pulling Claire behind him, and I found myself smiling at the gesture.
"Watch your language Mr. Hastings." Mrs. Donnaghue demanded, and Tyler rolled his eyes.
"This is bullshit." Axel said not bothering to hide the anger in his voice as he glared at Mr. Wilson with pure hatred.
Drama queen much . . .
"What was that Mr. Knight?" Mr. Wilson asked, and by the tone of his voice I knew he had to have heard Axel's comment.
"You know exactly what I said." Axel replied through clenched teeth, and I squeezed his hand to try and calm him down.
"Hey, it's fine Axel I'll be with you all day anyways." I whispered as I pulled his head down to where I could reach his ear.
He was an entire head and a half taller than me.
He stared down at me for a while before he nodded with a small smile. "I still don't like it."
"I know." I replied, and my eyes moved towards Ryder who had been silent the entire trip completely acting as if I didn't exist.
But now he was staring at me with a small smirk as he mouthed, hey kitty.
He's pissing me off.
". . . Axel Knight, and Tyler Hastings." I looked over at Axel at this.
Oh, why do these teachers hate me so much?
Tyler and Axel in the same cabin is almost the worst idea ever, my situation was currently taking the cake of the worst situation ever.
Mr. Wilson continued to name off names, and I found out that Emma was in a cabin with Jenna and Gage who seemed super eager. Poor Emma . . .
"Okay, everyone is to meet here once you are given your cabin number, and are settled in, so be back in about an hour." Mrs. Donnaghue said after the excitement, and chatter had died down.
"Hey, come to my cabin when you're done?" I said to Axel, and he nodded with a smile pulling me into his arms and full on blew mind as he kissed me.
He had never kissed me that way, and I realized why as he pulled away glancing behind me at someone. Turning to see what he was looking at I spotted Jason talking to Tyler while his eyes were full-on glaring at Axel before they shifted to mine, and he looked away after a short-second.
I would like to pretend like I hadn't seen the jealousy in his eyes as he glared at Axel, but then I would be lying to myself.
I lie to much.
I had seen it, and it had been enough for me to see the truth.
Jason is in love with me, and everyone around me enough knew it.

Romance"Are you gonna ask me what I know you want to ask me?" "Jesus, your conceited." She laughed, and I smirked shrugging. "The names Axel, not Jesus." I watched as she blushed most likely remembering the last time I had said that to her. "You really are...
