Chapter Nineteen: Warm Bodies

I was on a new schedule.

Wake up.

Exercise.

Shower

Go to school.

Practice.

Eat.

Shower.

Sleep.

It was my new routine, and that routine revolved around completely ignoring everyone including my friends and family. As sad as that sounds it helped to motivate me, and also managed to help a little with keeping my mind off of Axel and Ryder who I had been avoding like wildfire for the past month and a half.

But maybe that was for the best, and at least Ryder seemed to be fine with it out of the times I saw him during the day flirting with girls acting as if I had never existed. Unfortunately that managed to hurt me alot more then I would like to pretend, but this was all my choice, and I had to live with it.

Axel on the other hand had been being an absolute dick to everyone from what I'd heard in the halls.

"Sam mom wants to know what you want for dinner." My brother Tyler said as he came into my room in an unusually happy mood.

"I'm not eating tonight." I said as I continue to exercise staying in plank formation.

"She said you have to eat tonight, because you haven't ate dinner in almost a week, and you look unhealthy." Tyler said entering my room once again his voice losing it's cheer.

"I already ate." I muttered as I stood up, and ran the back of my arm across my forehead removing some of the sweat.

"What did you eat?" He questioned crossing his arms over his chest as he narrowed his eyes at me.

"Can you leave my room? I'm kind of busy." I stated angrily as I glared at him, before beginning crunches.

"We're not going through this this year with you Sam, not again. It's not healthy, and mom is still paying off the hospital bills from the years before last year." Tyler stated angrily pulling me up from the floor.

"Going through what?" I yelled at the top of my lungs pulling my arm from his grip.

"This! You always get like this before it starts to happen and then you end up in the hospital! I mean look at yourself Sam you look like you've lost about twenty pounds already, and soccer just started back up! I refuse to take the chance of losing you again!"

"I'm fine I can handle myself, and what I chose to do with my body is completely my choice!"

"So handling yourself is starving yourself to the point of where a couple of your organs shut down on you, and your stuck in the hospital for a month all for a stupid cup?" He said as his voice hardened slightly in anger.

"I'm fine Tyler, I've always been fine and completely capable of choosing what I shouldand shouldn't do." I said as I made my way over to my closet, and slid into a jacket and grabbed my keys off of my night stand.

"Where are you going?"

"To Jason's don't wait up." I said quietly, and quickly left my room zipping my jacket up to hide my sports bra as I entered the dark, chilly, night air.

The drive to Jason's house was a quick and well needed silent one.

"Hey Sam, what's up?" I nearly jumped out of my skin at the sound of a voice behind me, and turned to see Jason standing there in a pair of sweats and a muscle shirt that showed off his sides as well as arms.

"You scared the hell out of me Jase." I commented as I held my hand over my heart calming down, and laughed lightly as I shut, and locked my doors before wrapping my arms around him.

"I missed you Sammie." Jason said as he held me in a tight embrace slightly lifting me off the ground.

Smiling as he let go I nodded in agreement, "I missed you too, sorry I've been blowing you off here lately I've just been super busy. But I'm here now!"

He nodded, took hold of my hand pulling me up the stairs, and into his house also know as my second home.

"Sam!" I felt tiny arms wrap around my legs, and looked down at Jason's younger sister Addison.

"Hey Addi I missed you, did you miss me?" I asked as I bended down to her height, and she nodded grinning as she showed of her missing teeth.

"Yep, are you sta-ing da'night?" She asked her vocabulary reminding me of just how old she is which is only six years old, despite her height which would make someone think she was like eight years old.

I looked up at Jason, and shrugged my shoulders. "Sure."

"Addi it's time for you to get your bath." Jason's mother, Sarah said as she walked into the room and instantly noticed me giving me a huge smile, and a quick hug. "Hello Sam I didn't know you were coming tonight? How have you been?"

"Great actually, and neither did I it was kind've a last minute thing." I replied as she picked up Addi, and Addi smiled in delight.

"Well that's good, I'll see you tommorow Sam I've got to go give her a bath, but it was nice seeing you."

"Goodnight." I said as they left the room heading upstairs.

"Your staying the night?" Jason asking me as he lead me into the living room.

"I might as well, and plus I really don't feel like being around Tyler he's really been getting on my very last nerve here lately." I said as I ran a hand threw my hair, and plopped down onto the couch, and ended up having to pull on the hem of my yoga shorts so that they covered my ass, and some part of my legs.

"Alright so what do you want to do Shhhh-ammmie?" Jason asked in his terrible elvis accent making my name sound like a cleaning supplies.

"Let's watch movies!" I said excitedly remebering what an awesome movie collection Jason has.

"What kind've movie?" I shrugged, and pulled my legs up onto the couch after taking my shoes off.

Sighing I looked up at him. "Your choice, but I keep in mind that I want to watch something scary."

"Gee, thanks for letting me choose." He replied sarcastically, and I shrugged.

"It's no problem." I replied smiling, and he shook his head as he headed towards the stairs leading up to his room.

As he disappeared from sight I sighed quietly as I realized for the first time in the past three months just how much I really missed being around Jason. For as long as I could remeber he had been there for me with no questions asked, and he never pried like anyone else he was just . . . there.

He always knew how to make me feel better, and don't get me wrong there are other people who do that too. But he was different from them . . .

I had realized that while in Hawaii.

"Hey I didn't know what movie to choose so I chose Warm Bodies." He said as he walked into the room holding the DVD that displayed a picture of Nicholas Hoult as a zombie standing in front of Teresa Palmer a human.

I turned up my nose. "That hardly is considered a scary movie, but it'll do I guess."

He chuckled as he put the movie in, and grabbed the remote to changethe channel.

"Of course it will." He said as he turned the lights off.
