Chapter Twelve: Weak

I was completely under his influence from the day I met Axel Knight, but it wasn't until yesterday night that I realized it.

He made me weak just by the slightest touch, and as far as I knew that was the most horrid thing to ever happen to me.

He's careless, a complete ass, selfish, and he ozzes the amount of confidence that you could practically feel. There's also that side of him I seldomly see where he seems like an entire different person, but I liked that side of him the most.

But then there's Ryder Knight . . .

I'm even more confused when it comes to him.

I don't even know how I should begin to feel about him other then the fact I'm obviously attracted to him, and of course I wish I wasn't but I am and that's just enough for him to get under my skin.

Much like Axel he's careless, more or less a jerk, confident, but he's not really all that selfish. Actually he's got this whole bad boy persona, but at the same time he doesn't it's strange, but it's also kinda growin' on me.

But anyways back to yesterday night . . .

✂✂✂✂✂

24 hours earlier . . .

I turned the key in the inition once again pushing lightly on the gas, as the sound of a few rain drops hitting the windows reached my ears.

I had just gotten out of practice a few minutes ago, and apparently my car chose today of all days not to work.

I listened to it sputter a few times before I gave up hitting the stearing wheel a few times as the rain began to come down harder and faster.

"Shit!" I cursed loudly hitting the wheel once again.

Suddenly there was a knock on my window, and I jumped as I looked over to see a dark figure peering into my window.

"It's Axel." The voice said, and I sighed in relief before realizing this was pretty bad too.

I motioned for him to move away from the door after a few seconds of searching for a jacket, which unfortunately I couldn't find.

I stepped out of the car frowning as the ice cold water hit me.

"Car trouble?" He questioned staring down at me with amusement clear in his eyes.

"Yeah, car trouble." I replied solemnly as I glared down at my cute little ponitac.

"I'll give you a ride." He offered, and I looked behind him at his car where I could see Ryder watching us.

Riding with him, and Ryder?

"I'll pass I can walk home." I commented, and shut and locked my car.

"You live several blocks away Sam, just let me give you a ride." He offered staring down at me with determination.

I stepped past him shaking my head. "No, I'm fine walking thanks for the offer." I began walking, and walked around the front of the jeep my shoes making a terrible squishy noise as I walked.

I was already drenched from head to toe.

"Sam, stop being stubborn, and get in the car."

"I'm fine, just leave me alone Knight!" I yelled as he wrapped his around my wrist stopping my progress.

No way in hell was I putting myself in that awkward tense situation of riding with both of them.

"Fine whatever." He grumbled, and I turned around just in time to see the hurt flash across his deep brown eyes as he turned around walking back to his car where he got in, and sped of quickly.
