Chapter Three: He's a pervy thief

I quickly unlocked the door to my house knowing my mom was at work, and my brother Tyler was probably out partying like always.

I had all out avoided Axel the best I could during detention all week, but eventually he had managed to get me to talk to him when he threatened to cause us both to be in detention for the entire month.

Apparently he had gotten in trouble on the last day of school last year, and now had detention this entire first half of the school year so he didn't care so much.

"Sam is that you?" Claire called from my kitchen, and I shook my head snickering.

She always somehow manages to find her way to our kitchen even if none of the people that actually live here are in the house.

She walked out holding a hoagie full of lunch meat, lettuce, and by the looks of it tomatoes.

I despise tomatoes.

"What's up Claire bear?" I stated slyly with a smirk knowing she still hadn't figured out why we called her that.

I had came up with the name when she had first ventured into my kitchen eating up all of our lunch meat, because it was kinda like when a bear ventures onto a campsite and can eat up all of the food.

"Nothing, the better question is what's up with you and Shmexy Axel Knight?" She questioned following me up to my room where I fell back on my bed dramatically.

They don't call Capricorns dramatic for no reason.

"Nothing he just is so damn infuriating it's like he seriously thinks he's god's gift to earth or something!" I stated sitting up to look up at her my long brown hair falling in my face.

"Uh, have you never seen him, he clearly is." Claire stated, and I groaned hitting her with a pillow.

She would think that.

I scoffed. "As if! Yeah he's the epitome of sexy, and gorgeous but he's a womanizer and a complete egotistic dick."

"Well it's clear he's got his eyes on you now, maybe he can be your way to move on from Austin." She said quickly knowing she should've never brought him up.

I exhaled loudly shaking my head. "One asshole to the next I think not, and besides I'm already over him he just won't leave me alone."

"Then maybe this little thing with Axel might be a good thing." She suggested, and I burst out laughing.

Did she really just say that?

"How could anything involving Axel be considered a good thing?" I questioned wiping away non-existent tears. "You can't be serious."

Claire rolled her eyes, and put the rest of her sandwhich in her mouth chewing slowly as if savoring every bit of the sandwhich.

Ever since I had broken up with my ex-boyfriend Claire and Jason had been insisting that I get another boyfriend. They say that I need to get over him even though I clearly had gotten over him, why else would I break-up with him . . . I mean other then the fact that he couldn't understand that I wasn't ready to have sex with him.

"Sam! Hey do you still have that package I told you to- oh hey Claire." My brother came into my room yelling, but stopped dead in his tracks when his eyes landed on Claire.

Here lately he had been acting strange around her leading me to suspect he likes her which would just be weird for me.

"Hey Tyler." She responded smiling at him like always oblivious to the way he was looking at her.
