Chapter Thirty: 100-watt smiles & Candles
"Can I open my eyes now?" I asked sounding like a child as I waited impatiently for us to finally arrive to where ever Axel was currently taking me, and he chuckled.
"Not yet." He said, and I heard the sound of a door creaking open, and then he was telling me to watch my step.
I took slow measured steps before I felt the feeling of heat, and heard a door shutting behind me.
"Okay, you can take the blind fold off, and open your eyes now." He said, and I did as he said excitedly.
The first thing I noticed were the candles everywhere giving the room (which I had now recognized as the great hall) a majestic glow. Next, I noticed the rose petals everywhere, and the blanket laying on the ground with heaps of food.
"This is beautiful, when did you do all of this?" I said as I moved over towards the couch picking up a rose petal from the table behind it where several candles sat.
"This is what I was doing all day, it was why I told you I couldn't see you this morning." He said as he moved towards me his 100-watt smile causing my heart to wrench.
He's so beautiful . . .
"This is so sweet thank you Axel." I said as I threw my arms around his neck, and pulled his face down to mine where I seized his lips.
I don't think I'll ever stop being surprised by how perfect his lips felt against mine.
"I'd do anything for you princess." He said as he rested his forehead against mine his fingers touching the small amount of skin below the hem of my shirt.
I don't know what made me do what I did next, but I would never say I regretted it.
Pulling his face back down to mine I maneuvered him towards the couch, and once his legs hit it I gently shoved him down onto it, and quickly removed my shirt while his eyes watched me in complete awe.
Straddling his waist, I continued trailing kisses down his jawline, and neck.
He groaned, and I felt satisfaction at knowing I was the one causing him to make those sounds. "The . . . food it's, uhm . . . it's going to get cold."
He groaned once again, as I nibbled on a spot on his neck and proceeded to lick the skin.
Before I had a chance to realize what was happening he took control, and had his shirt removed in one swift moment as he flipped us on the couch to where he was on top of me.
"If we go any further I'm afraid I won't be able to stop myself from devouring you." He said breathing heavily, and he supported his weight with one hand while the other was holding onto my hip.
Devour . . . sounds good to me.
"I won't mind." I said smirking as he chuckled, and I ran my hands up his chest attempting to be seductive. "I want you Axel."
His eyes grew darker as he stared at me, and I coward slightly as he took me in with pure lust before he captured my lips once again.
"Are you sure?" He questioned as he peppered my throat, and chest with kisses.
"Yeah, I've never been more sure about something in my life." I said, and let out a throaty moan as he mimicked my movements earlier nibbling on my skin.
How could someone be so perfect?
"God, I love you." I said as he looked up at me smirking.
"The name is Axel, not god, but I love you too." He remarked, and I giggled as his lips went down to the spot behind my ear.
"I'm aware."
The rest of the night only got better as more clothing items were removed, and he handled me as if I were fragile.
It was the best night in all of my 18 years of life.
