Once we got back to H.Q Maddieson and Emmy started to explain what a protector is and how we needed at least one. Well they were chatting it up I decided to check on Scarlet, definitely not the smartest thing I’ve ever done. So here I am standing in front of her door wondering what to say to her.

“Good luck,” Max said as he walked past me, “You’ll need it!” I was about to knock on the door when it opened, Scarlet wasn’t they're.

Must be in that portal thing….

Whats this? I picked up a vile with something purple in it. Then I saw huge black monsert come out of the portal, as did Scarlet.

She saw me, “Why are you in here?!”

“Well I came to talk to you but looks like your occupied…need help?”

“No and-why are you touching that?! Put it down!”

I forgot I still had the vile in my hand, I gently set it down on the table and decided to help Scarlet.

“What is it?” I asked as I was ducking so the monster thing couldn't hit me.

“It’s a demon and it’s looking for something!”

“What?”

“I DUNNO!!!”

The creature was now on top of her and ready to end her.

“NO!” I shut my eyes tight and felt something heavy in my hands, they're lied a bow arrow, the most beautiful one I’d ever seen. I shot it straight at the monster, he caught three of them and threw them back at me, luckily I moved just in time. But I hit him once and caught him off guard, which gave Scarlet time to escape. She smacked him on the side but he thrashed around and used he claws to create a deep wound down her side, there was a loud sound as glass shattered. The demon broke the vile, Scarlet pushed it into the portal.

“Little help?” I turned around and Max was on the wall with a three arrows stuck in his clothing, two were going through his shirt into the wall and one through the ankle of his pants.

Scarlet was picking up the broken glass, she looked straight at me, “This is your doing!”

“What how is it my fault?”

“Now I’ll never find her….because of YOU!”

“ME?!”

“Guys?”

“Stay out of this MAX!”

“Don’t talk to him like that!”

“Don’t tell me what to DO!”

“Can you calm down?” He suggested.

“SHUT IT MAX!”

“Sheesh, tuff crowd.” She picked up an arrow and sent it in millimeter away from his face. He shuddered in fear.

“I didn’t want to do this….” I grabbed my bow arrow, “But you leave me no choice.”

“I’ve been waiting to see you lose.” She smirked.

“Guess your never gonna see it.”

“Ready….aim..”
