I didn’t know until now that I wasn’t the only Keeper. I thought the prophecy was nothing but a Fairy Tale. That was before I inherited the family curse. “Now insert your gem in the keyhole.” Says Hunter.
“No duh sherlock!”
I said in a sarcastic tone. The ancient stone table looked like something King Arthur and Magic Merlin would have lying around. The Magic table stated to glow as it told us about the next stone not a gem a stone, and how it allowed it’s Keeper the ability of water and ice. We also learned a lot more about other abilities ours gems possess like how we can unlock our sprite animals that guide each of us. An they're real animals too! But you had to have all the gems and stone to unlock this power.
“So the Keeper of the blue stone is definitely losing control...right?”
“Right, that’s why the Magic Merlin Table isn’t telling us everything there is to know about the stone….but maybe I can track the keepers thoughts and plus he must be scared.”
“He?” Hunter says obnoxiously.
“Yes he, all of us have a gem and were all girls so the stone’s keeper must be a boy...Duh! Ugh sometimes it feels like I’m the only ones with the brains.”
“OH YEAH WELL I FIGURED THAT OUT FIRST!!!!!” Yelled Hunter.
Just as I was going to give Hunter what was coming to her Emmy started to speak.
“Hey guys look at this, I was able to update our ( as Scarlet likes to call it ) Magic Merlin Table and combined it with today’s latest technology! It will be easier to distinguish the gemmology it speaks of. And since I reprogram the software now it’s now at a new level of complexity. I also took it upon myself to enable a new more efficient embedded foundations with more logic and enhanced checking software. Better support, better logic, better flow!”
“Ummm…. Emmy would you mind dumming that down for us cause all I heard was science and boring words.” Asked Hunter.
“Not us. Just you.”
“Okay anyway this table that was made in the stone ages and is pretty much now like the Jarvis in Iron Man.”
“Sick Emmy!” Says Hunter finally understanding.
“But what I really wanted to show you is this.” Emmy showed us a picture of a froze water fountain at the school but that's not all. There was multiple things frozen and they were all water sources.
“That’s not good, this I way past losing control this is out of control!”
“Well one hypothesis we can make about the keeper is when they get scared they're totally out of control.”
“So what we just have to find what makes him tick.”
“Well first off, I say, we have to figure out who he is.”
“Wait!”
Emmys voice stirred with excitement, “What if the boy hates Hunter?!”
“You say what now?!” Hunter yells with a confused and angered expression. “What’s the opposite of ice?”
“Duh, Fire.” I realized where she was going with this.
