My brain was dead, I was way past confused.
Okay Hunter, get it together. Just think about the task at hand. Okay:
Step one: Make a plan
Step two: Do that plan
Keep in mind: DON'T KILL THE DRAGON BECAUSE APPARENTLY IT'S FREAKING HUMAN!?
"What you got? Please tell me you have something!?" Says Maddie, practically pleading.
"Yes I have a plan. I've already sent Scarlet and Angel ahead to figure out a cure, I'm not sure what Max can do but-"
"Here! In the book Tom stole or whatever, there's a few weakness listed, or weak spots." It's Emmy, I don't think I've ever been happier to see her, "Best chance we got it to knock it down and use this." She handed each of us a gun.
"Whats this-"
"Took me awhile but I finally invented something that will hold it until we unlock a portal or something to keep it in. So Angels, well and angel and the Z Dragon is a demon, right?"
"I guess?"
"So I combined some of her white blood cells with dark matter and Scarlet created a power source, sorta like electricity. Anyway I combined all these to make this gun, if we shoot it each shot should weaken it about 7%, there are twelve shots on each gun, once were done Scarlets going to make a demonic summoning circle around it to stop it before it does anymore damage then already done. Finally we can use the cure Angel and Scarlet create."
"Great thinking now, Maddison and I will take the backside of the dragon, Emmy you go in the front, Max your the distraction. Lets g-"
"What?! Oh no not agai-"
"Max. We need your help, don't let your family's deaths be in vain, not your sister."
"Fine." Even through the dirt and blood caked on his face I could have sworn I saw a tear form at the mention of his sister, I hated to use his family like that but we needed this plan to work. Weather or not we like it, it's our only chance against Kitsune. I watched them all walk off and heard Em say something to Max, more like yell something.
"Hope to see you soon." He said, Emmy replied with this, "So help me, YOU BETTER COME BACK, YOU HEAR ME?!" She kissed his cheek, "Be safe." she whispered. It was quite comical to see her yelling at him like that, but sweet. Kind of?
Maddison I took shelter behind a tipped over car ready to shoot on the signal."Hey if I, you know, just tell-"
"No, no, don't get all sappy on me soldier. We're all gonna come out of this. Together. Okay?" She smiled then her smiled faded as she gave me a worried glance.
"Wheres Tom?" She suddenly asked.
"Crap, Kitsune must still have him! I gotta go-"
"No way, the plan?" I peeked over the car and was realized that was a stupid move when I saw a knife speed inches away from my face.
Kitsune.
She wasn't too far away from us, the dragon and others were a mile or so away since we would have to be 100% sure the Z Dragon couldn't see us.
"Go, I'll fight Kitsune."
"You can't not alone." She says trying to persuade me.
"Go. I'm the leader, so you better listen to me or so-"
"Okay, okay." She quietly crept off behind a building, unnoticed, good.
I popped up from behind the car, slowly walking taunting her, my flames, bright as ever. I closed my eyes and sent a thought of help to a friend. Flareon walked next to me flames burning around her.
"Ohhh look at it, it's so ugly." Flareon growled at her. I could hear Flareon call her a witch in my head. "A witch? I wondered where you got your snarky comments from, now I know."
"What? How'd you hear her-"
"You truly amaze me, you know absolutely nothing. Nothing. So disappointing. But anyway if you would be so kind to call off your so called team, I'll go easy on you."
"Pfft are you kidding me, after we're done with this whole thing you'll wish I'd gone easy on you."
"So it seems your not going to accept my very generous deal?."
"Flareon now!" With a snap of her fingers flareon was nothing but ash, she grabbed the crown that once glimmered in between the two ears of a mythical like fox."
"Souvenir."
"Don't worry, she only took out my physical body, I don't know if you'll ever be able to hear me outside your head but I'm not dead. Focus on the task." says Flareion,
"Right!" I answer.
"What did you do-"
"With Tom? Oh, don't get me started with that idiot, what a failure. I'm not a fan of failures. I had such great things in store for him, but he strayed away. So we had to do things the hard way."
"Do you call killing someone, blinding someone even the hard way? I don't know what kind of justice you think you'll bring by ruling. Do you think killing anyone in your way is going to solve anything? What kind of cruel justice do you think you'll get accomplished here?! Your nothing more than a murder, a thief, a idiot of a jerk who thinks they can just walk right into my town a say 'Hey, you know what? I think I'm going to take over the world today!' Yeah, no. Not happening on my watch. If you want this town, you'll have to go through me first."
"You know you could be a good addition to my team. Too bad though. Maybe you'll just end up like Tom, washed out and going to be dead soon."
"No yo-" I was stopped by a loud thunder like noise. I looked and I the distance I could see tanks and ton of armed personnel carriers.
"And that's my que to leave, see ya!" She used a grappling hook, I was about to go after her when I noticed something she left behind. There was a little stuffed bear that had a note.
I read the note out loud, "In this bear lies the death cure for for the Z dragon, killing both the Z Dragon and it's blood bonder, or don't use it and let millions of others die. Oh and I'd start running if I was you. What-crap." I ran like my life depended on it because it did, she would never just give me something like this without a catch. On of them being the bomb she stuffed in the bear.
