Semmy Carson
As the bright warm light of the morning sun was shining over my entire face, I felt myself slowly waking up. The moment I eventually pried my eyes open, they were met with a beautiful young man who was laying besides me;
River Allen.
The most gorgeous boy in this entire small world had his strong arms safely wrapped around me, making me feel all warm and tingly from the inside. We were cuddling so close to one another that I could feel and hear his relaxing heartbeat.
His glasslike gray eyes were closed shut, those long dark lashes of his were tickling his soft cheeks whilst he slowly breathed in and out. A wide smile played along his red full lips and his tanned skin was basically glowing under the sunlight.
He was a true angel.
All these feelings that swirled around inside of me were basically indescribable. This boy took me to different places, from the cold oceans to the snowy mountains. Fireflies flew around me, our stars couldn't shine any brighter and the colorful flowers happily bloomed into something beautiful. River and I had just our own world of feelings that we were experiencing.
Both of us felt it.
"Hey baby.." His low morning voice spoke up then.
"Hi" I blushed a bit, snuggling further into his arms as I loved his warmth around me.
It relaxed every single nerve in me yet it made my heart shake around for him.
"I don't want to go to school.." I whined soft, enjoying this memorable moment.
"Oh baby.. You never skip school so we gotta go.." He told me, caressing my hair.
"I know.. I just.. I like being with you, but we don't even have the same classes" I pouted, knowing we were in different grades now.
"How about you hang out with Jax? He slowly started to be your friend right?" He suggested and showed his dazzling smile of his.
"But.. Huh? Are you okay with that? Did you hit your head or something? I thought you didn't like him.." I frowned, looking deep in his gray mountain orbs.
He let out that beautiful musical laugh of his as he shook his head.
"I don't.. but I know you want to make friends and that's what you deserve Semmy.." He told me, looking deeply into my eyes and that's when I knew he meant it. "really.."
"Awe.. You are being too sweet Riv!" I giggled and crawled on his chest, kissing his lips. "Don't worry! I'll tell him I have the best boyfriend ever!" I joked, but still meaning every word of it.
"Good, cause I don't want anyone looking at my adorable pretty boy" He smiled, kissing my nose which made me blush. "You're mine, Semmy Carson"
Stupid red cheeks?! Why are you always choosing these wrong moments?!
"Awe! You're blushing!" He laughed then and smirked at me.
"What?! N-no! I'm sooo not!" I huffed and crossed my arms, feeling my cheeks getting even warmer.
"You sooo are little man, don't fight me on this cause you'll never win" He grinned low.
"Pffft.. Stupid sports jock.. They never have brains" I murmured as I shook my head.
"What did you say?"
Oh freaking sad cupcakes.. He heard me.. I didn't mean to say that out loud!
"Nothing!" I answered way too fast.
"Oh nothing? We will see about that.." He said then.
"What do you m-" But that's when the evil boy tickled my body.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH NO RIVEEEEEEEEER!" I yelled out loud, trying to kick him away.
"Take my revenge!" He laughed loud, tickling my soft spots.
The worst thing about dating your best friend; they knew all your weaknesses.
"Stop! P-please!" I giggled uncontrollably, feeling so much in my stomach.
After that he luckily stopped, pulling me in his arms as he placed his soft lips on mine. We simply fitted, just like some mystery that was suddenly solved while everything clicked into its place.
I threw my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me as I wanted more of that addicting cherry flavor. I smiled within the kiss when I felt his arms around my waist, rubbing my back in a soothing way.
River was my drug and I wanted more.
Because it was always just him.
And then to think that I was never capable of having River as my boyfriend. I thought I would never be good enough for him, that he wasn't even gay and that he would be happy with that Lucy. But in fact, it ended up with me being his other half, his best friend.
And I wouldn't want to have it any other way.
Even if River wouldn't have want me after all, I'd still get past it and have him as my friend. Because I'd rather have a River as my friend then no River at all. I would feel incomplete if it wasn't for him. My clouds would have stayed dark and gloomy. Just thinking about losing him, seemed to let my lights fade away in the skies.
My smiles widened when he pulled back from the kiss, staring back at me with these hypnotizing light eyes. Suddenly I forgot how to breath again, there was this sudden glow around us and my heart was only beating faster from the strong connection between us.
"I love you" I smiled at my boyfriend.
"I love you too Carson" He smirked, rubbing my back. "We have to make ourselves ready for school baby.. Come on, I'll drop us off"
Oh right,
School..
