The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds.

That's what I hope to give you for ever.

Semmy Carson

"And we're going back to school.." I murmured not amused.

Normally I am fine with everything that was coming my way and I was a pretty easy going person if you'd ask me. But one thing that I really hated from the depths of my burning heart, one thing I think we all can agree on.

Is school..

That place was filled with people who either ignored your existence for years or loved to bully you whilst they were a pro at hiding their true selves. You never knew who you could trust nowadays. If you at least found one person who was an actual great friend to you, just like how I found my River, then you were in great luck of surviving high school.

Or at least that was in my situation.

"Aw come on Semmy! I will stay by your side all day long" He grinned happily. "And your friend! What was his name again?" He asked then.

"Jax" I smiled at the thought of me having a friend besides River.

Not that it mattered, because I already won my price and that price was River Allen himself.

I had the honor to call that precious boy my boyfriend. The one who stole my heart among many others and decided to keep mine in his hands. He was the most stunning, very popular and sweetest human in the entire school.

And he chose me above everyone else?!

I turned my head in his direction to watch him drive towards school. A glimpse of sunlight fell onto his golden hair, making it shine so brightly. His gray eyes were concentrated on the highway, looking as beautiful as ever. And my heart beated faster just from his warming smile and never ending laugh. My entire body was melting and shaking from staring at him. One touch from him and my body, heart and soul were on fire.

I never knew loving River could ever feel this good.

"Why are you watching me like that?" He noticed and laughed soft, suddenly looking a bit insecure.

River was never insecure..

"Because I love you.. And you're so freaking gorgeous.." I admitted to him, letting the warm blood flow towards my cheeks.

"Stop Carson!" He laughed and bit his lip, only making himself looking more and more attractive.

I could never get enough of staring at him.

"It's nothing but the truth.." I smiled and bend over, kissing his cheek as I sat back in my seat. "And you are and will always be a stupid sports jock.. But you are my stupid sports jock" I giggled, getting out of the car when River pulled his car on the parking lot.

"Come here.." He smiled and locked his car, before walking over to me and pulling me in his arms.

His arms were wrapped around my waist, creating tingles all over my skin as I struggled with breathing properly. My eyes found his and my breath stocked in my throat from the glints that were to be found in those crystal gray orbs. I felt his thumb touching my bare skin under my shirt, he was caressing it which gave me a sensation of goozebumps.

What was he doing to me.

As every second passed by, he leaned in closer and closer to my face until I felt two soft lips on mine. He made it a short and delicate kiss, making me feel nothing but loved in this moment. Neither of us cared that there were people watching.

It was just him and I in our own universe.

River pulled away and smiled widely, staring into my eyes. "You know what you do to me?" He grabbed my hand and laid it on his heart; I could feel his heart beating intensely fast and loud.

Did I do that to him?

"Wow.." I murmured and smiled, before I knew it River poked me in my ticklish side.

"Hey! What was that for?!" I squealed and laughed soft, pushing him playfully.

Not that it had much effect since River was basically a sports god with a good body.

Damn sexy abs..

"For still calling me a stupid sports jock!" He yelled and laughed loudly.

I wish I could hear his laugh on repeat.

"Oh you're evil Allen! Evil, I tell you!" I laughed and walked with him inside the school.

It was the fact that I knew and felt River was by my side which made me feel less afraid of what could happen or what others would think of me.

River and I both knew better.

And I was proud, maybe even more than just proud to call River mine. We came so far, you'd almost say we were unbreakable. At this point life couldn't be better. I had River and Jax who were glad to happily take care of me.

And of course I was happy to take care and look after them.

"Hey boys!" Jax walked up to our lockers with a big smile on his face.

"Jax!" I smiled and hugged him shortly.

"You two look so happy? I ship it! The ship has been sealed" He grinned along with River.

"You also look happy Jax.. Tell me, what have you been up to?" I raised my eyebrow curious.

Maybe he found a way to stop school for all of us!

"I.. have a date!" He admitted, blushing slightly.

"Really?!" I gasped. "With who!" I asked happily, almost fangirling for him.

"His name is Everest. I don't know him for too long" He smiled.

"Wait!" That name sounded familiar. "That was that boy who flirted with me at the party.. He is soooo hot!" I giggled, totally shipping them.

"Hey!" River gasped and pouted in the most adorable way ever.

"Don't worry Riv.. You are my one and only" I whispered, pulling him closer to me.

"I hope so! Or I will show that Everest boy my stupid sports jock techniques!" He yelled defensive which made me laugh.

"Let's go to class you jock" I winked and grabbed his hand, waving at Jax.

The rest of the day consisted of boring classes, fun breaks with Jax and River and me loving River.

I wouldn't want to have it any other way.
