"Happy one month anniversary.." I whispered softly into my boyfriend's ear.

Today was one of the most special days that I wouldn't forget ever so soon. I had the honor to behold the keys to River Allen his heart, and hopefully I had that power for many more days.

He let out his warm and gentle laughter, smiling ever so lightly and shaking his head in awe. Every time he smiled like that, he stopped my time from ticking any further. My eyes found his bright gray ones and I swore I fell harder into their gray pools of love. My heart beat faster and the nervous sweat bothered my hands. All I could do was watch him breathlessly as the world spun slower and the sunlight laid on his sculptured flawless face.

I was damn proud to call this angelic boy mine.

"Babe.." His low husky voice sounded. "Happy one month anniversary.." He smiled, making me melt whilst he gave me a small peck on the lips.

I love you..

"I got you a little something.." I smiled shy, crawling on his lap.

I love you..

"Wait, for me?" His eyes widened in a cute way and he wrapped his arms strongly around me, pulling me closer to his chest which gave me the possibility to hear his soothing heart beat.

I love you..

"Oh Semmy.. You didn't have to do this! I didn't even got you something.. Now I feel like the worst boyfriend existing" He murmured, seemingly disappointed in himself.

My hands found their way to his face, cupping his cheeks as I caressed them softly.

"River! It's not about the present.. You already gave me enough by always standing by my side, not leaving me like everyone else did, standing up for me and most important, for loving me. It was about time that I gave my stupid sports jock something back.." I smiled, pushing the big box in his hands.

"What did I do to deserve this angel..?" He murmured under his breath.

It was probably not meant for me to hear that, but I still did and my cheeks couldn't help but flush into their pink lovable color.

"You got me the Kobe Bryant signed basketball?!" River gasped as he opened the present. "No.. Freaking.. Way!" He jumped right into my arms and squeezed me tightly.

I always knew his passion for basketball came from Kobe Bryant.

"R-River!" I tried to talk. "A-Air!" I yelled.

"Sorry!" He apologized and let me go. "Wow.. I don't get how you- thank you Semmy! You are the best!" He looked up at me with this little childish twinkles in his eyes, jumping up and down in excitement.

That's what I did this for. I didn't need presents as long as I saw River happy.

"Good.. Cause you deserve the best and only the best" I smiled, looking at his red full lips.

It didn't take long until River got the hint and placed his soft lips on mine. Our surroundings faded away and the flowers bloomed around us, creating a livable warm atmosphere between us. His lips slowly moved against mine, letting me hum in pleasure. Our hands were all over each other and my heart jumped everywhere in my body.

Eventually we broke the kiss, panting slightly as we stared at one another in nothing but love.

"Let's go to your room, shall we? After our nice cuddle session, we can go out for a nice dinner and a warm bath when we come back home" He suggested, caressing my back while we walked upstairs to my room.

My eyes widened as I saw all the Imagine Dragons albums laying across my bed with two tickets to their concert.

Our band..

"And did you really think I didn't get you anything Carson?" He huffed soft, ruffling through my dark curls. "Of course I would get you something silly!" He laughed, shaking his head.

"What?! River!" I gasped. "Y-you got this for me?!"

"No for Santa. Yes for you silly!" He laughed, catching me when I jumped in his arms.

"THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOUUUU!" I squealed out loud.

He laughed again and burrowed his head in my neck, laying us down and starting our cuddle session.

"No problem, my baby boy.." He whispered and hugged me closer against his chest.

Goosebumps rolled over my skin and the tingles were every where to be felt.

"I will never let you go.. You are my best friend and lover, I wouldn't want to have it any other way!" I smiled at him, snuggling further into his warmth.

"The same for you, I'm glad that I have you for all these years and that you are the sweetest purest human on this planet!" He said, sounding genuine with the way he was talking to me.

My heart melted as I was laying all warm, close and secure in the arms of my one and only love.

The rest of the day consisted of the nice dinner where we continued to tease and laugh with each other and in the late night hours we took a warm bath and talked each other's ears off on how much we liked the other.

And I thought that, that was what real love was.
