Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eyes.

Semmy Carson

"W-what?! Say that again"

Honestly I had no idea as to how to react in this moment, what if it was just my mind messing with me because I have been so in love with River Allen for over years and to me that always felt unrequited.

Who would love someone like me anyways?

My eyes locked with his bright gray ones which were twinkling at me, making me realize how I only saw the two of us left in this world. I wanted to rake my hands through his golden hair to feel the tingles spreading across my skin like a fire. My heart raced in my chest as I saw our stars dancing in the happy night skies like there was no tomorrow. Unconsciously, a smile appeared on my face just from looking at his lips. And how much I loved the way he made me feel and how I loved him.

He wasn't just gorgeous looking like the angel he was. No, he was an actual angel due to that bright and open personality of his. I didn't care that he was popular or that he had the looks, the money's and everything else that he could get; instead I cared for his personality and his ways of making people happy, I cared for him and nothing but him.

This boy was my never ending maze to love and happiness.

And I wouldn't want to have it any other way.

"I love you Semmy Alex Carson" He spoke up again after staring at me, smiling the widest that I've ever seen which almost made my heart burst with every color existing.

He loves me, he really does love me.

That's when I realized that he meant it, the sparkles in his eyes and that big smile gave that away. The genuineness and determination in his voice gave me a sign; this was it. River Allen loved me and I loved him back.

Love was actually one hell of a mystery; you'll learn about yourself and the things you didn't know you could feel. Your heart randomly chooses this one person for his or her perfection, flaws and personality. Someone who was either a close friend or a total stranger to you, it didn't matter, love did its work theirselves. Faith helped along with letting those two people meet at some day. The heartstrings wanted to intertwine with the heartstrings of your significant other. And I think that is what just happened with River and I.

Our love got sealed.

"Oh my g-god.. I.. I love you too! I love you too River, so much!" I yelled, running towards the boy I love and jumping into his strong safe arms.

He wrapped his arms around my legs so I wouldn't fall down, watching me with that damn winning smile of his.

I could understand why every girl fell on their knees for him.

But he was mine now; mine.

"Wow!" His warm laugh sounded in my ears. "You seem very happy" He smiled and kissed my forehead, leaving tingles against my skin.

"Because I am! You know I am! Oh this is amusing to you huh? You mean sports jock!" I giggled and smiled softly. "Only using the middle name ruined it!" I huffed soft.

"Oh yeah?" He smirked a bit, knowing that I'd make a comment about it.

But that's what happened if you were dating your best friend; they knew everything about you and how you'll react on certain things.

"Yeah.." I giggled and buried my head in his neck, enjoying how his warmth always wrapped around me like a blanket.

To me it was shocking that River actually was ready to date a boy, an unpopular and weird boy may I add. And I was internally screaming like a fanboy over that I had a chance with him and that I actually had him as my boyfriend right now.

Can you all hear me scream?!

"Come on tiny boy, I wanna take you out" he smirked and kissed my nose, making me blush.

"Hey I am not a tiny boy! I'm big and strong!" I huffed and crossed my arms, glaring at him.

"Oh you look so damn cute when you are all mad and stuff" He winked, pulling me close to his chest.

"Let me go you stupid sports jock!" I yelled.

"What did you call me?" He whispered low in my ear, creating the goosebumps to roll over my shoulders all the way down to my back.

"I- uh-" I blushed and giggled then. "Stupid sports jock, duh! I've been calling you that since day one remember?" I giggled louder, remembering how I started with this thing.

"Oh you're going down little Carson!" He pulled me down the bed and crawled on top of me. "TICKLE FIGHT!" He laughed and smirked at me.

Oh no I couldn't resist those, both of us knew that..

Rest in piece.

"No! No, River don't you dare-" But the idiot started tickling me anyways. "AAAAAAAAH NO NO! STOOOOPPPP" I laughed out loud as he tickled me fast.

"Stop s-stop stoooooop!" I squealed and rolled on the bed, trying to escape this hell.

"I will only stop if you say sorry and kiss me!" He grinned loud.

"FINE!" I pouted and caught my breath once he finally stopped. "Can you ever stop teasing me?"

"Never" He laughed soft with those same twinkles in his eyes, making me melt right on the spot.

Maybe I liked it.

Maybe!!

"So where is my sorry? Or do I need to tickle you to death?" He kissed my cheek.

"Sorry!" I huffed again and kissed his lips. "Happy now?"

"No, not at all" He shook his head, watching my eyes.

"You said you wanted a k-"

He stopped me from talking by pushing his lips against mine, slowing moving and giving me the time to taste the fresh mint and something new, a slight bit of sweet mangoes. I roughly raked my hand through his soft hair, earning a pleasurable groan from him. My lips turned into a smile whilst our lips moved in sync with one another, my stomach flipped upside down and I could feel this desirable fire between us. A rage filled with love and sweetness, it send tingles down my body as I relaxed under his touch.

My eyes were still closed once he pulled back as I could only think of one thing on this special day;

He loved me.

He got this place in my heart that no one else could have.
