The last days were the best ones I could ever imagine.
River and I became stronger than we have ever been in our entire relationship for the past five years.
Those five years were what shaped us in something differently beautiful today. We were like two bright flowers, blossoming for each other and blooming besides one another as the sun gave their warmth to us; wrapping us in a blanket called love.
Obviously not everything was a Cinderella story. Our white skies went through happy sunlights, dark rains, loud thunder and soft snowstorms. We had to fight together to go through what came on our way and that is exactly what we did.
After three years of dating and knowing this boy since we were little, River moved in with me to spend almost every day together. At least the mornings and evenings where we would cuddle and share secret kisses in bed.
Besides spending time together we also worked hard for our money. River got offered to become a sport trainer and I was currently working at an ice cream shop. River and I kept in touch with our friends, we met some new people through those years, but I also regularly spoke to Jax and Everest, they were also still together after those years.
River's parents see us at least once a week for a family dinner where we talk about everything we can think of and River even suggested to think about marriage together as we spend our days going on the most romantic dates, having fun on the playground like two little kids or with just a nice warm day in our pajamas at our houses.
And I wouldn't want anything else more than to marry my best friend that I know for over thirteen years.
"Baby.. Give me attention! You keep zoning out" River pouted in the most adorable way as his crystal gray eyes turned bigger.
An unconscious smile came up my face as I watched him, looking like an innocent puppy.
He gray eyes pierced right into mine, looking through my soul without purpose. I loved walking through the high snowy mountains that we called eyes. My hand reached out towards his messy brown hair, brushing it away just for me to have a better look at his sharp features and his slightly tanned skin. He held my heart in his hands as he smiled at me, stealing my heart in the process.
This boy was shining whenever he smiled like that.
"Awe you're so cute! You sports jock!" I laughed soft, playing with his brown strands.
Damn, he still looks just as sexy.
Hormones Semmy, hormones. Control yourself.
"Even after all these years, you still call me by that stupid nickname!" He huffed, shaking his head.
"Hehehe, I win. I always win babe, even your parents love it!" I laughed out loud, loving how supportive River his parents were of our relationship.
They always chose my side just to tease and mess with River. Both of them are just as crazy as us.
Who didn't want that? They are the family I never had.
"Oh you get a payback! Come here now" He growled low, making my heart skip a beat.
"What?! N-" But before I could even finish my sentence, River attacked me by jumping on me whilst using the magic of his finger tickles.
"RIVER ALLEN! STOP NOW, AH!" I yelled out loud, having a fit of laughter whilst throwing my arms and legs around the air.
"Yeah you love that huh?!" He grinned, tickling me faster while holding me down the bed.
"NO!" I squealed and after a minute he finally stopped his torture.
"Meanie!" I pouted, crossing my arms in a stern manner.
He laughed as he looked at me. "Hee, would you like to have dinner with my parents tonight?" He asked, kissing my cheek.
"Of course!" I blushed. "We can all call you stupid sports jock!" I giggled softly.
"Don't make me want to tickle you again!" He threatened me, glaring playfully at me.
"Heck no! Sports jock? Never heard of it!" I said immediately.
"Good boy!" He smirked. "You and my parents really hit it off.. They love you so much" He said proud.
"That's good to know, thank you.. Maybe we can discuss things about adoption" I told him, smiling a little from the excitement.
"We can! And don't thank me Semmy. You are the greatest alive. You did it all by yourself babe" He held me tightly against him, making me snuggle in his chest.
My heart swell with pure love whilst I watched my boyfriend, loving how everything turned out the way it did between us.
This boy always managed to make me feel good about myself and make me feel comfortable in every which way.
He helped me with the parts that I lacked off and I did the same for him, we filled every piece of emptiness. He wrote the end to my story and I wrote the end to his story.
Thanks to him my eye vision was nothing but red with love. I knew it from the moment I saw him for the first time and I still know it.
I want to marry this boy some day. And nobody else.
It was River, River all along.
Our love was one filled with teasing and warmth. The feelings he gave me, his sweetness and support helped me through everything. Their was mostly only good to be found in our story. Everything just fitted and felt alright, more than good actually, it was as if we put the last puzzle piece to complete the picture.
We have been through an entire rollercoaster during the process of loving River. But it was more than worth it.
And Loving River was the best thing I have ever done.
The end.
