Elise's Point-of-View
"Let's get 'em!" The boy with longer blonde hair said.
"No wait. Let's wait until Rowan gets here and then he can torture them," the ginger kid said.
"Yes! Make them beg for death!" One of the boys out of my line of sight said.
"We mean no harm!" Lyra-Rose shouted. Normally, Lyra-Rose was always calm. It really looked like she was about to have a panic attack now, though.
"Here! Let's lead the little girls to our time-out corner!" The boy with brown hair and freckles sneered. All the boys laughed.
"We aren't that little," Stella mumbled under her breath.
"Oh, what's that Miss Midget? Sorry we couldn't hear you; we're all the way up here!" The one with short blonde hair cackled.
Suddenly, two boys walked into the room.
"What is the meaning of this?" The supposed 'Rowan' asked.
"We found them sneaking around the base, trying to kill Freddy!" The one with long black hair snarled.
"Wait a minute...Amber?!?!" Rowan asked.
"Oh God," Alexandra whispered.
Amber swore under her breath.
"I told you that you should tell the girls about us, not show them our base!" Rowan yelled. Amber looked at the floor.
"Well maybe, that wasn't what I was trying to do!" Amber screamed back at him.
"Well then, what were you trying to do?" He yelled.
"We were actually looking for evidence that you were the mass murderers. We came to your house for evidence," Becca piped up.
Rowan seemed flabbergasted. "Amber, do you really think I've been lying to you this entire time? I would never do that to you," he whispered.
"I was trying to make it look convincing! I almost told them last night, but...I just couldn't bring myself to do it," Amber pleaded.
"With all due respect, Rowan, you yourself told us last night that we were going to invade their base because you thought they were the murderers," the kid with longer blonde hair piped up.
Now it was Amber's time to be flabbergasted.
"Well, I guess now is a good enough time to tell them all," Rowan said," everyone to the living room!"
We all traveled to the room where I had cowered a few minutes ago. We all sat down on the two separate couches. Amber and Rowan were standing side-by-side.
"Girls, there's something I need to tell you," Amber started. She looked up at Rowan and he nodded and smiled. He slipped his hand into hers.
I resisted the urge to fangirl.
"Rowan and I have been going out for about a year. We usually end up at some diner in the crappy part of town at midnight. It was the only way to keep this secret from you. I knew how you guys would react if I told you I was dating our sworn enemy. So I'm sorry I lied. But I hope you guys can forgive me because," Amber paused and looked at Rowan," I love him and it doesn't look like we will be breaking up anytime soon."
Rebecca started jumping up and down and squealing in her seat. When Raiyn tried to get her to settle down, she flipped herself onto the floor and started screaming. She rolled around there for a while.
As Rowan watched the scene in front of him unfold, he asked,"Is she having a seizure or something?"
"Does this happen often?" One of the boys asked.
"Yes," all of the girls responded in unison.
"It's called fangirling," Raiyn said.
After Becca had finally calmed down, God forbid, Rowan addressed everyone.
"Seeing as we don't know each other's names, I think we should say who we are and what our power is. We will be working together a lot in the future," Rowan said.
Amber looked up and smiled at him. They both looked so happy together.
"I wish I had that with Micah," I thought.
"Alright, sorry I'm late! I got some groceries though!" A boy with a buzz cut chirped as he ran into the room.
"Micah, c'mon man! We got girls in the house!" The ginger kid said.
Micah...why does that name sound so familiar?
I looked up just in time to see my boyfriend fist bumping the idiot ginger kid.
"Micah!?!" I exclaimed.
"Elise! What the heck are you doing here? Are you okay!?! Did they hurt you?" He asked as he rushed over to me.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I hissed.
"Tell you what?" Micah asked me.
"That you were a part of the Red Eye Brothers," I venomously replied.
"Elise, you never told me you were a part of The Elites," he argued.
I swore. My boyfriend was a LIAR. So I may have gotten a little physical. And slapped him. I don't think I've ever been that aggressive. Ever. After several minutes of me being physical I started using my powers.I threw dirt, clay, sand, gravel, and started an earthquake.
Amber and Lyra-Rose grabbed my arms while Stella and Raiyn restrained my legs. Alex apologized for my behavior and Becca was, once again, on the floor fangirling. Amber pulled me out into the hallway.
"Elise! What were you thinking?" Amber yelled.
"I was thinking that my secret boyfriend for the last six months is a part of the Red Eye Brothers. And he never told me!" I explained.
Amber only hugged me. "Elise, it's times like these where we need to come together. We will be working with them for now on, so we better get along."
"Wait, we will? But they're our sworn enemies!" I cried.
"Not anymore. So get in there, and talk to everyone so we can all be friends," Amber said. And with that, she walked into the living room.
I, angrily, followed her.
"Alright, introductions!" Raiyn said.
Raiyn's always asking for introductions. Every. Single. Freaking. Time. I guess I was being a little judgy since I was so mad.
"My name is Rowan and my power is telekinesis," Rowan said.
The ginger kid went next," My name is Hunter and my power is super strength."
"My name is Hayden and my power is the ability to create force fields," the kid with longer blonde hair said.
"My name is Parker. My power is intelligence. So basically the power to see the future," the kid with the short black hair said.
The kid with the freckles and the brown hair went next. "Hi! My name is Liam and my power is the power to fly!"
"My name is Cameron and I have superhuman speed," the kid with the short blonde hair said.
And finally...
"Hi, my name is Micah and I have the power of invisibility," Micah said.
We went after they finished. Let me tell you, Micah's eyes lit up when I said I had power over the element of Earth.
It looked to me almost as if he was happy.
"Alright, now that introductions are over, let's talk to one another a bit. We'll meet again tomorrow at The Elites base to discuss our plan of action," Rowan said.
I watched as Stella walked over to Hayden, Raiyn walked over to Liam, and Lyra-Rose walked over to Cameron. Amber and Rowan seemed joined at the hip. Alex shyly walked over to Parker. Hunter confidently walked over to Becca, who seemed completely mute for once. Micah walked over to me.
"Micah, I'm sorry about earlier. I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore," I said.
He leaned down and kissed me on the cheek.
"I wouldn't dream of breaking up with you," he whispered.
"Thank you," I replied.
When he offered his hand for me to hold, I took it. We sat down on the couch and talked the night away.
"Do you guys want to stay overnight? It will be hard to get home in the dark. And, it's almost three in the morning," Rowan suggested.
Becca grabbed Amber's arm.
"Thank you, but we need to get going. We will see you tomorrow," I said. I took one last glance at Micah and the seven of us left the base.
"We need to get home and clean, don't we?" I asked on our way out."And possibly take a shower too? I don't know if you guys remember, but we did have raw sewage dumped on us," Lyra-Rose said.
"Can we sleep first?" Rebecca asked.
Everyone sighed in agreement. Tomorrow was going to be a long one.
