Rebecca's Point-of-View

Four years later..

"Do I look okay?" I asked suddenly. I looked down at my dress. The bottom of the dress was purple, bleeding into the red, bleeding into pink, then orange, then yellow, then white. My hair had been highlighted to match the dress. I had on black tights and a pair of black stilettos. My highlighted hair was parted to the side. I wore a red heart necklace, a matching red heart bracelet, an oval shaped Scarlet ring, and dangly red earrings. My sparkly, red nails were set off by her black and gold Smokey Eye with the thick eyeliner and the red lipstick. I smelled smokey.

"You look amazing, Becca!" Elise said.

"What if I screw up?" I asked her.

"You won't! He'll be head over heels for you," she responded.

The organ music started.

I swore under my breath.

I watched as Stella and Hayden, then Raiyn and Liam, then Lyra-Rose and Cameron, then Amber and Rowan, Alex and Parker, and then Elise and Micah walked down the short isle. They were the only ones at this wedding. The government didn't want it getting out that their strongest weapons were the ones getting married.

I took a deep breath and walked down the aisle. Hunter was waiting at the end for me.

It took everything in me not to throw up. Or throw a fireball at him.

There would be a few weddings today and a heck of an after party. Next were Elise and Micah, Amber and Rowan, and Alex and Parker. The after party was going to be held at, you guessed it, The Scene! We had rented it out, so only we would be there.

The Elites and The Red Eye Brothers had pledged allegiance to each other so we would always be partners in work.

And now, we were beginning our lives together.

As for me? I never wanted to be a superhero. But I know better now.

The end.
