Raiyn's Point-of-View

The group and I continued to follow the sound of the footsteps. We followed it down a long, dark hallway.

I don't believe I've ever heard this group so quiet.

We kept walking down the hallway until the footsteps died down. We kept walking until we came to a fork in the hallway.

"Raiyn, Liam, Stella, and Hayden, go down the left fork. Lyra-Rose, Cameron, Elise, and Micah, go down the right one. Amber, Rowan, Alex, and I will stay here a make sure nobody gets through. Hunter, you're our messenger; if there's danger, you alert one of the groups. We meet up back here in twenty minutes," Parker said.

And with that, we took off.

Stella, being one of my closest allies, was gripping my hand so tightly I was sure my knuckles were white. Liam and Hayden followed closely behind. We crept down the dark hallway.

"Alright, enough of this," Stella said. She opened the palm of her hand and I watched as an orb of light appeared.

We walked a few feet further and came to a closed door with the lights on inside.

"Stella, douse it," I said. When she didn't, I threw a wave of water over it.

"I don't CARE how you do it! Get me THE GIRLS!" a woman inside yelled. Stella and I looked at each other.

I didn't have a good feeling about this.
