"Oh, hi, mom!" Jihoon greeted his mom as he arrived home. He sat down beside his mom who was sitting on the couch in their living room.

"Jihoonie, we barely talk about you anymore."

"Uhm, we can now."

"Tell me about your friends. Are you dating someone?"

Jihoon tried his best to not smile but ended up smiling, so he covered his face with his hands.

"Oh, you do?" His mom laughed softly. "Who is it?"

"Mom, I'm not sure if you're okay with it?"

"Well, do I know who you're dating?"

"Well, you've seen him already." Jihoon's eyes widened when he realized that he just exposed the gender of the person he was dating.

"Oh, he's a boy?"

"Mom, it's..."

"No, I'm completely fine with that!" She assured him, putting her hands on top of Jihoon's.

"I thought you were homophobic."

"Nope."

"Well, yeah. I'm gay."

"But, who is it?"

"It's Guanlin."

"Oh, that handsome kid! He's rich, right?"

"Mom, please, I'm not gonna steal his money."

"No, it's not that," she said. "It's just... does he treat you well with that money?"

"Oh, yeah, he does. He took to me Lotte World, right? He's also really kind."

"Well, I'm gonna have a little talk with him soon, then."

"Mom, please don't expose me in that little talk."

"I'll try my best." She winked at him.

"Mom!"

"Just kidding. But anyway, how's school?"

"Oh, uh..."

"Do you have high grades?"

"Uhm, well..."

"Jihoon?"

"My highest is a B."

"Well, that's good. What's your average, though?"

"C."

"Oh. Your lowest?"

"D minus."

"Jihoon, you have to do better."

"Yeah, I know," his voice was getting strained as he didn't wanna talk about it, as he was trying his best in school.

"You can't go to college with those kinds of grades, you know that. You still have to get a job in the future."
