"Minhyun, look at this pic of Hoon!" Seob showed him a picture on his phone. Also, yes, they have decided to drop honorifics already the day before after school as the three of them have gotten really close to each other.

Minhyun looked up from his food and at Seob's phone. He laughed softly. "Hoon, you look so cute in here! How old were you here?"

Jihoon looked at Seob's phone, "Around eight years old, I don't know."

Seob smiled at him.

"What? Why are you smiling at me?"

"Nothing." He then went back to eating his food.

Seob was happy that Jihoon was all smiles once again. He knew he was still hurt and was on the journey to moving on from what happened, but at least he's starting to return to his usual bright self. He absolutely hates seeing Jihoon angry, sad, hurt, or any of the liking, so he tries his best to help him just to make him happy.

It has only been less than a day since Jihoon broke up with Guanlin. But, he was good at hiding his negative feelings, so he managed to pull off his usual bright mood once again.

"I can't believe this school year is ending soon," Jihoon said, staring at nothing in particular. "I mean, so much stuff has been happening, it went by kinda fast."

"I know, right? It just seems like yesterday when we entered high school," Seob said.

"You two are so dramatic," Minhyun laughed at them. "It's not as if you're leaving high school already. You still have two years left here."

"We're being dramatic, because we wanna leave this hell hole," Seob told him. "Now."

"Okay, but same."

"Minhyun, to be honest," Jihoon said. "I've always thought you were this kind of guy that's obsessed with school and everything related to it, and that you really don't know how to chill or hang and all those stuff."

"I get that a lot."

"But being here with you now, talking to you casually like this... you're actually pretty cool."

"Very cool," Seob corrected him.

"Am I supposed to feel flattered or anything?" Minhyun asked them, his eyes becoming crescents in shape when he smiled.

They were laughing at that time, until Jihoon saw Guanlin, Sungwoon, and Taehyun walking towards their usual lunch table. Jihoon's laugh faltered and his once bright expression left his face right away.

"Hoon, are you okay?" Seob asked him. He looked at where Jihoon was looking.

"I just miss it. Not only Lin, but those two as well. I miss them so much."

Seob sighed as he felt the same, then he wrapped Jihoon in a side hug.

Minhyun's smile left his face, and he looked at his food. He looked as if he was debating on his life. After a while, he looked up and asked Jihoon, "Do you want my food?"

"No, it's okay. I'm really not that hungry."

"Well, sure."

A little while later, the bell rung, signalling them to go back to their classrooms. The trio went their own different ways then to their own classrooms.

Jihoon sat alone at the back of his classroom. He gave up on trying to make friends with his other classmates, as they all seemed to have squads of their own. He opened his phone and started to play games while waiting for the teacher.

This became his daily routine in the classroom ever since.

It's been two weeks since Jihoon broke up with Guanlin. Two weeks of longing to end up in his arms once again. Two weeks of not talking to him, to Sungwoon, and Taehyun. Two weeks of agony from trying to move on and to forget he ever had feelings for him.

Nothing really changed over the two weeks. He was still hanging out with Minhyun and Seob, he was still moving on from his break up, he was still sitting alone at the back of the classroom, he was still feeling terrible.

Although, he was improving in terms of academics. His grades went higher and higher every day. He doesn't need Guanlin to help him pull up his grades. Besides, he had Minhyun, Seob, and himself. What else could he ask for?

It's almost been centuries and their teacher still hasn't gotten in their classroom. Jihoon groaned in absolute boredom, he went out of the app he was playing and proceeded to his phone's home screen, swiping left and right as he really didn't know what to do.

And just as he was supposed to turn off his phone, it suddenly vibrated as a notification popped out.

linnie:
rooftop after class

He didn't press the notification, but just read it. He looked up from his phone and saw Guanlin staring at him. The younger immediately looked away and started chatting with his teammate once again.

Jihoon didn't know what to feel. Excited? Nervous? Angry? He was starting to doubt whether Guanlin was playing games with him again or not, but decided to just go to the rooftop later on.
