The bus had stopped by the time I woke up. Xavier was crying like crazy, today is going to be hectic.

The handcuffs were rubbing against my wrists making them feel numb. This isn't going to get any easier.

A woman who had scars all of her face lifted the door up, letting us get out.

"Who are you?" I demanded.

She ignored my question and ordered everyone out of the truck. Maxon was holding Xavier tightly, while I held May and Lynn's hands with caution.

She guided us over to a small broken down house in the middle of no where.

She pushed Maxon and I into the abandoned house. "Daddy, where are we?" Lynn muttered.

"I don't really know." Maxon sat down with his back against the wall.

May tried unlocking the door, but it was no use. We were officially trapped. With no hope of getting out.

There was a single bed, an old tv, a bathroom and a rusty stove. It was better then nothing.

The tv flickered on, George was standing in the palace. "Citizens of illeá, King Maxon and Queen America have been missing. Until we find them I'll be in charge, Allow me to introduce myself. I'm George illeá. The last of the illeá family."

The kingdom must be in cautious knowing that we're missing.

Thing is about this situation is that we're not just "missing", we've been kidnapped.

When the worst was happening, I was thinking about Aspen. Maybe It was just my stomach needing food or the pain from my side. I don't know. I felt like I should've forgave him. It wasn't his fault for liking me or was it?

Aspen could be dead right now for all I know. "How did Xavier get to the same room you were in?" I politely asked.

"Aspen handed mom Xavier, and right when she turned to set him down, she got shot in the spinal cord.

Aspen fled to help the other guards take out the rebels was the last time I heard of him." May mumbled.

He could either be dead or being forced into slavery, by that I mean forced against his will to serve and protect George.

A person opened the door for a second to set a basket of food on the floor. There was a loaf of bread, grapes, chicken and water. It would last us till tomorrow.

Maxon served each of us a handful if grapes, 2 slices a bread and a piece of chicken. I fed Xavier slowly, but It was hard to keep at that pace since he was scarfing things down fast.

It wasn't long before all of us had our plates emptied and wanting more. My stomach agreed. I told them we should save some for later.

In the meantime, I thought about ways to get us out of here. A window? A bobby pin? I just need something to get us out of here.

I felt hopeless and useless. I couldn't do anything about it.

"America?" May flipped over on her side.

We were all sleeping soundly. May, Lynn and Xavier slept on the single bed while Maxon and I took the floor. "Yes?" I quietly responded.

"I miss mom." She confessed. I slowly kneeled down beside her and slid my arms around her.

"It's okay, I do too." I comforted her.

I stayed by her side until she fell asleep. May didn't deserve any of this. Now that mom was dead, she'd expect Maxon and I to take care of her, I wasn't going to let her down. Not again.

****

"Get up." A small woman with a guard uniform barked.

I never seen a female guard, not even at the palace. It seemed weird to see one.

"Guards are coming close to the area, I expect you to be on your best behavior as we evacuate from here." She hissed at us.

Now is the time.
