I held Xavier tight in my arms as we trudge through the thick woods. I could tell Lynn was hesitant about this. She held onto May's fore arm like it was her last hope.
"Why are you doing this?" May said in between breaths.
"Does it matter? I am helping you that's all you need to know." Nova said while leading us through bushes.
Up head there was a huge house in the center of the trees. Nova guided us into the house and locked the door behind her.
This place didn't look like it was abandoned at all. My suspicions raised. Were they here to kill us?
"What is this place mommy?" Lynn curiously asked me.
"I don't know sweetheart." I replied back.
Nova paced back and forth near the door. "Okay I guess it's time for you to find out who I am." She continued. "I'm Nova lee Hensley and I work for Illeá's secret protection services."
A big weight has been lifted off my shoulders knowing that she is her not to hurt us.
