* I'm really sorry I haven't been updating lately 🙈 I've been busy.. Idk doing what. I guess a written slump. * ,

"America! Help me!" May screamed in mercy at me.

I tried everything I could to get those ropes off me, I was just too weak.

My dizziness felt like I got hit by a bulldozer, I couldn't get back up. I took a look around my surroundings, nothing seemed familiar.

I took a deep breath to calm myself down. May's face was covered in shades of red.

"May, it's okay. Everything will be okay." The sentence echoed in my head.

The sun was beating down on us. I could feel my skin burning on my face. The light ripped fabric that was covering my arms wasn't enough to protect me from the suns UV rays.

May was struggling with the ropes, her body was trying get out of the ropes desperately.

A dark figured man came up beside her. "Okay, now that I have your attention, I'd like to inform you." Inform? Inform me about what?

His body was balancing against the tree May was tied up to. "I don't want to sound like the bad guy here, but the rest of your family is being held captive."

"Who are you to tell me this?" I bluntly exclaimed.

"I thought you should have known, because Nova was the one who turned you in." He smirked. The mysterious man reached for something in his pocket. A knife.

His eyes met with May's. Rapidly the knife made contact with May's stomach. Her screams were gut wrenching, my ears couldn't take it no more. The ropes that tied her to the tree were cut, her body was now lying emotionless on the ground.

This was all my fault.

Hot tears ran down my burnt face, making my face hurt even more.

"What a hot mess you are." He walked over my sister to get to me.

"T-tell me. Where. Maxon. I-Is" I stuttered, while trying to stay strong.

"Where would the fun in that be? If I told you?"
