This can't be happening. I can't stand to look at May's body lying on the ground. I look over at my dry red hands, the ropes have been cut from the tree.

The man is no where in sight, my first instinct is to go north. Where we came from. I trudge step by step to the nearest shady tree and rest my back against it.

Would it be mean, if I regret marrying Maxon?

It would've saved a lot of people's lives if he just sent me home that night.

There was 35 other girls and he picked me. Kriss should've married him, she was perfect. Everything you would want in a princess or in this case queen.

I shrugged off the negative thoughts and started moving north. Each footstep took effort, after a mile of pure jungle, I was all out of strength.

I climbed up a sturdy tree and relaxed my muscles. My red hair was all covered in knots, my legs were all cut up and bruised from moving through the forrest.

Was this really the end?
God only knows.
