Melody awoke the next day, due to her alarm waking her up. She sighed and got out of bed. She noticed Vincent wasn't in the room. She just shrugged it off and got dressed in her usual black pants and a flannel shirt. Today she was wearing a blue and grey flannel. She moved over to her dresser and got on her necklaces. One was a heart locket and the other was a pendulum-like necklace. She always wore them.
Vincent was in the hallway, studying himself in the mirror. His dark brown hair was covering his right eye, he was wearing a heart locket necklace like Melody, but his was slightly cracked. He sighed, his icy blue eyes bore holes into him, he couldn't stand to look at himself anymore. He walked into Melody's room.
After Melody ate breakfast she walked the 15 minutes to school with Vincent. They didn't and haven't said a word to each other. When she got to school, she saw Oliver. She walked over to him.
"MELODY THANK GOD YOU'RE HERE. I had the weirdest dream!" Oliver exclaimed. Melody didn't say anything so he went on. "There was this guy with you in a blue shirt, he had blue eyes and he had brown hair." Melody's face went pale. "He was like, following you everywhere the whole school day but then he was gone after school and you were acting weird, and then you and I got in a fight and you had a machete and you cut my arm off and then you slit my throat and I died but then you had no right eye and my ghost was following you and then you killed Lilith by slitting her throat and then you killed your crush and you also killed that jerk Gabriel who is for some reason obsessed with you and then you stabbed yourself and the guy was in front of you again and then you were clean with only your blood on you and he was covered in everyone else's blood." Oliver talked nonstop and by the time he was finished, he was panting.
"It's ALL he's talking about." Lilith commented as she walked over.
Melody glanced at Vincent who was oddly glaring at Oliver. Then suddenly the bell rang and school started. Melody walked inside, not saying a word to anyone. Vincent followed her closely...closer than usual.....
