Melody was quiet. Alexander sighed, "Why don't you come with me first, Melody?"

"O-okay" Melody responded quietly.
Soon the two were walking outside, in the rain.

"What do you see, Melody? Describe our surroundings." Alexander told her. Melody looked around a bit.

"We're in the rain, outside, it's dark, and...muddy" Melody responded.
Alexander nodded, "Hm, may I do something? It might confuse your brain for a moment." Melody nodded.
Alexander took a deep breath, then started speaking and he put a hand over Melody, "*Quid latet, apparebit, quid sit. Contemplantibus quae rupta fractis sermonem fecit."

Melody suddenly gripped her head, it felt like all of her senses were acting up at once. She screamed in pain as her body felt like it was on fire. She sank to her knees, her black pants getting soaked in mud from the ground. Tears streamed down her face, mixed with the cold, hard, rain. Then all at once, it stopped. Melody shakily got up, she stumbled a bit and Alexander caught her in his strong arms. "Can you describe our surroundings again for me? Please?" Alexander asked the girl.

Melody looked around again, instantly more aware of what was around her. She kept noticing things that weren't there before. "We're outside, cold rain is pouring on us, there's a huge oak tree next to us, the autum leaves are falling off of it. We're at the backside of the church, the sky is dark, and it's around 9:00 at night. I'm cold and hungry, my pants are soaked with mud and...I'm wearing three necklaces, two of which I have no clue where they came from...What did you do to me Alexander?" Melody looked up at the taller man, staring into his tired and anxious eyes.

"I just freed you. I freed you from the false reality you were living. Vincent trapped you, clouding your mind, making you blind to your surroundings, blind to what he really was, but now you're free." Melody was quiet, she heard something move in the darkness and she looked. There was a figure under the oak tree, it was Vincent.
