Owen stared at her, stunned. Gabrielle smiled nervously. Owen thought for a moment, "But your mother, she would never sign the pa-"

"She did, I visited her last night. She signed." Gabrielle informed him, not telling him that Ariana was drunk.

Owen smiled, "Of course I will!" There were tears in his eyes. Gabrielle smiled and ran over to him, basically tackle hugging her soon to be father.

"Happy birthday, Dad."

Owen was asleep in bed, it was a couple days later. He awoke to a ear piercing scream. It was Dominick.

"DOMINICK?!" Owen jumped out of bed a sprinted to his son's room. Gabrielle was in there already, she was pale and staring at something. Owen looked to where she was staring. There was just enough light from the pale moon to see Dominick. He was bloody, his throat was bleeding everywhere and there was a dark spot in the middle of his torso. He was motionless.

Owen couldn't speak, or even move. He could just stare, with tears that he didn't know he was shedding, running down his face. He sat like that for what seemed like hours, but it was only a minute. He could hear his heartbeat in his ears as he saw a figure move in the shadows.

He snapped back into reality, "WHO's THerE?!" His voice cracked with a mix of anger and fear. The figure rushed over to the window and jumped out. He gasped when he saw it's face. It was Ariana, covered, in her own child's blood...

Owen was being accused by the public with the crime, even though there was proof that it wasn't him. The police arrested Ariana, but no one believed it was her. Owen could barely function anymore, he was too lost.

Owen was out for a night walk, he didn't know where he was going, he was just walking. He came to a stop when he saw the edge of the cliff. He stared at it a moment, before he jumped.
