Owen blinked again and Gabrielle was gone. He was back in the same spot. The moon was shining bright red, and a dying tree was looming over him.
Owen didn't know what was happening, so he tried to go back to Gabrielle. He got there, but she wasn't there anymore. Owen sighed and plopped on the floor of the living room.

Owen woke up. He was back in the clearing.
Owen yelled out in frustration and anger. That's when he heard a voice, speaking to him.
"Owen Vincent Rasire, a deal has been made. You will be stuck in this clearing, until a human child is born. That human child must live in this town, and have the ability to see you. You must successfully kill them.
In return, you are now a demon. The only way to escape this clearing is to kill the child. If the child grows up and dies, you will be sent back here."
Owen nodded, a bit dazed. He couldn't wrap his head around it...Then another voice spoke. It was a female, a voice like smooth silk...
"The melody of the restless,
comes from the bird in the tree,
The Olive tree protects it,
And shelters it from the pain,
Acts as a home it does,
But not just to one,
The night monster people fear,
But her intentions are quite clear,
A friend the monster needs,
So she lives in with the bird in the tree,
The melody soothes them all,
But when the bird falls,
The bird will let down its guard,
It won't look to far,
Before it finds a home,
Then it will perish,
The monster filled with anguish,
Then it will start to roam,
Taking a seed from the Olive with it,
To kill the one named Vincent,
Kill the one who took her friend,
And made her life end,
They searched for hours on end,
Until they found the one responsible for their friend,
When they finally found him.....
Vincent killed them."
