Lilith and Oliver were currently in the car with Alexander, Melody was with Lance. Alexander was driving fast, his knuckles white from gripping the steering wheel, a bitter expression on his face. They sat in silence, Oliver was listening to the cars pass by. Suddenly Alexander made a right turn, onto a dirt road.
"Where are we going, Alexander?" Oliver asked.
"To get more information on Risera." Alexander commented, almost no expression in his voice.
"That doesn't answer my que-" Oliver suddenly stopped talking, seeing the house they were pulling up to. It was the haunted house of their town. There was a legend about how the spirit of an angry girl was locked inside. Her father died after her brother died, and then she killed herself of starvation. "Why are we here?"
Alexander parked the car, "You see, I've come to a very big conclusion. I think that Owen Rasire, the man who lived here 95 years ago, is Risera." Alexander explained, "When he was still with me, I always felt drawn to this place, so I eventually snuck in one night with Lance. That's when I saw her, the ghost of the girl that died. She looked horrified when she saw Risera, and he reacted the same way to her. When we were leaving, I saw him reach out to her, like he was going to touch her, but then he looked as though he had to force himself to leave."
"So you're saying that THING was once a living, breathing, being with emotions? Please, he could kill the cutest dog in the world and not care." Lilith said bitterly. Alexander sighed and got out of the car. Lance pulled up next to them, Melody in the front seat. Everyone got out of the cars and walked up to the door of the house. It was a fairly big house, like the person who owned it was wealthy.
"I should go in first." Melody said, her voice not sounding right. Alexander looked at her and saw that her eyes were blue again. He gave everyone else a look that told them not to react.
"Okay, that's fine. Go ahead." Alexander told her.
