It was a week since the day Alexander died, Melody, Chris, Oliver, and Lilith had talked to each person Oliver suggested individually. Well, everyone except Lance, they couldn't get Melody anywhere near him without her breaking down. The nurse had refused, saying that she would only come to help if something happened at the school. All the rest of them had agreed to help out, including the police officer. Turns out his name was Ken, he was a very old friend of Alexander, and had witnessed firsthand what Vincent could do to a person.

Right now all of them were together at Melody's house in the living room. There was still no sign of Vincent. Melody was sitting (it was more like cuddling) next to Kent, while Oliver and Chris looked on disapprovingly. Kai and Lilith were sitting next to each other, Sebastian, Gabriel and Tyler were sitting close. Ken was pacing back and forth.

They were sitting in silence, waiting. Ken had contacted Lance and told him to meet him at Melody's house at 4. It was currently 3:58. They waited for what seemed like hours but was truly only seconds and minutes. Then there was a knock at the door.

Ken went to the front door where he saw Lance standing there. He let him inside and led him to the living room. Melody looked at him and the guilt of what happened came flooding back.

Lance looked very out of it. His hair was messy, his blue eyes looked tired and empty, his posture was practically perfect though. He did, however, also look sick.

"Lance," Ken began carefully, "we need your help to get rid of the demon, these kids can't do it on their own..."

Lance didn't say anything, he just stared at Melody.

Oliver spoke up after a bit, "We don't KNOW how to get rid of him, and we can't figure it out without your help."

Lance was quiet still.

Everyone exchanged awkward glances around the room, except for Melody and Lance, who's eyes were still locked.

Melody finally managed to speak, "Please...I'm sorry about what happened to your brother, I know...I know we can't bring him back...b-but we can avenge him...w-we can banish Vincent or something, we just NEED you.."

Lance finally spoke, "May I speak to you...alone?"

Melody nodded after a moment, realizing that was directed at her. She got up, with a quiet protest from Kent, and she led them to the kitchen. Lance didn't take his eyes off of her the whole time.
