Melody was at recess sitting by herself. She hasn't talked to anyone all day, not even Vincent. She was sitting in the grass, staring at the ground when she saw Oliver and Lilith approaching her. "Hey Mel, are you okay? You haven't talked to anyone all day, which is kind of normal I guess, but you usually at least talk to us." Oliver said with great concern. Melody didn't answer him.
"Where'd you get those necklaces? They look cool." Lilith asked, trying to change the subject.
"....What do you mean where did I get them? I've always had these necklaces..." Melody answered, now confused.
"No you haven't, you hate jewelry. Unless you've never worn them to school." Oliver chimed in.
"I've always worn them to school! Are you two really THAT blind?" Melody was now getting annoyed.
"You have NEVER worn those to school in your LIFE, Melody." Oliver said.
"Whatever I'm no-" Melody cut off suddenly, realizing something, or rather someone, wasn't around.
"Melody? Are you okay?" Lilith asked softly.
Melody didn't say anything as she got up and started looking around but, Vincent was nowhere to be seen. Melody went back over to Oliver and Lilith. "Yeah, I'm fine, I just...thought I..." She looked for something to say. "I thought...I DROPPED MY LUNCH TICKET! But I didn't, it's in my pocket!" She pulled her lunch ticket out of her pocket.
"Okay...if you say so..." Oliver replied. He was getting suspicious, and Melody could tell.
"Let's go eat lunch, I'm starving!" Lilith complained.
"Okay." Melody replied. She turned around and saw Vincent right behind her. She jumped a bit. "JEEZUS CHEESE!" Vincent smirked at her and she glared at him.
"Melody...?" Oliver was now worried about her mental health.
"S-Sorry! I saw a BUG." Melody directed those last words towards Vincent. Vincent just laughed.
And so the small crew walked into the building, Vincent following behind...
