Chris was speechless as he listened to what his little sister was telling him. She started crying halfway, then Oliver took over as best as he could. For the first time, Chris looked at Melody's bloodied clothes.

Melody then stood up. "We can't waste any more time, Vincent could show up at any time and we HAVE to be prepared."

Oliver nodded and gave Melody his and Lilith's charms. Melody took off her pendulum necklace. Then she set them down on the floor. "Chris, take Lilith with you and go get salt. Don't split up."

"Okay. Come on...Lilith was it?" The two left and Melody was left alone with Oliver.

She sat down on the floor, sighing. She took a look around her room, "Just knowing that this may be the last day you're alive is...stressful."

Oliver sat down next to her, "It is...Hey Melody?"

"Yeah?"

"I just want you to know, you don't need to worry. We're going to beat him, we can banish him back to Hell or whatever, right?"

"I don't know, Oliver." Melody admitted quietly, "we might just have to live like this for the rest of our lives. Always scared, always worried, always on the run. We don't have a priest's help anymore, it's just us..."

"...But what if it doesn't have to be?"

Melody looked at Oliver, "What?"

"Just think! We could get others help to! Then it will be him, against us! We could have him out numbered!" Oliver jumped up, "We could get Tyler, Sebastian, Gabriel, Kent, the nurse, that police man! Hell, we could convince Lance to come back! I could get my foster sister Kai! She's crazy about demons and violence! It would be 12 against 1."

"I..I don't know, they would be risking their lives..." Melody hesitantly replied.

"Mel, we HAVE to try. We don't want to die, if we die, knowing we did NOTHING to banish him?" Oliver pressed.

Melody sighed, "I guess it's worth a shot.."

When Chris and Lilith got back with the salt, Melody made a circle of it around the charms. She recited the lines from Alexander's book, her eyes turning red while she did so. When she finished, her charm was glowing red, Oliver's was green, and Lilith's was orange. They picked them up carefully and put them on.
