Oliver was herded back to his hospital room. His mom was talking to him, scolding him probably, but he wasn't listening. He was just thinking about how to get Melody back.
Oliver suddenly ran into Tyler. "O-Oh! Tyler! You're here..." He mumbled a thank god after that.
"I came to see how you and Melody were doing..." Tyler awkwardly explained.
"Tyler listen. You CAN NOT go in there. That's not Melody. H-He has her somewhere. Trapped i-in GOD KNOWS where." Oliver stammered, desperate to help Melody.
Tyler looked at him, a bit confused, "Oliver...you hit your head.."
Oliver jumped up, shaking Tyler's shoulders as he spoke, "NO! You don't get it. Melody is in his world! Somewhere! There's a CLEARING. Vincent has her. Thats Vincent in there! H-He's going to kill us if we don't stop him! HER EYE IS BLUE TYLER."
Tyler awkwardly laughed. "Okay....."
Suddenly, Melody walked over to them. "She" was completely unbothered by the stab wound in her torso. Tyler took one look at her and could tell that it wasn't Melody. The thing that caught him the most off guard was her blue eye.
Melody smiled at them, it was a wicked smile. Oliver shivered at the sight. Both him and Tyler backed up, hesitant to be so close. Oliver looked at his foster mother, who was talking to the doctors.
"I came to ask where Lance was?" Melody asked innocently.
Tyler looked startled by her voice, but a moment after he composed himself, "Like hell I'm telling you." Tyler retorted. Melody glared at Tyler.
"Tell me where Lance is." It sounded more like an order than a request.
"No." Tyler bolded responded. Melody's eye seemed to glow brighter blue.
"Where is Lance you son of a-" Oliver didn't hear the last part, due to the fact that he was shocked because her last statement wasn't Melody's voice at all.
Tyler and Oliver backed up even farther, "Sorry Vince, but we've gotta split. Hope you don't find what you're looking for!" Oliver enthusiastically responded, before him and Tyler made a run for it. He heard Melody growl, frustrated, and his mother yell after him as they retreated.
Before he realized, Tyler was taking him somewhere.
"Tyler where are we going?" Oliver questioned
"I'm taking us to Lang or whatever his name was." Tyler told him.
They soon came into a room, where he saw Lance on a hospital bed, talking to Melody's parents. Her mother was crying, as Lance explained what was going on.
While silently watching the scene play out, Oliver noticed something. Melody's mother looked oddly like Lance and Alexander. She had the same face shape, nose, and even her eyes matched. Oliver listened harder, trying to make out what Jen was saying.
"I should have let her get to know you...I didn't think this would happen...why her?" Jen said through sobs, "If only I would have let her get to know her uncles...Now Alexander is...go-" She cut off as she wailed in sorrow.
"He was the best of both of us..." Lance admitted.
"He was the best brother a girl could ask for..." Jen replied quietly, tears still streaming down her face.
Oliver froze. Lance and Alexander...were Melody's uncles?
