Alexander watched the girl, then out of instinct, he crouched next to her. "Are you okay?"
Melody shook her head no, and Alexander hugged her. She hugged him back, tightly. Alexander knew that it was a risky move, but he couldn't help it, not when it looked like a child. Alexander was about to let go, when he felt something impale his back. Alexander cried out and he felt a warm liquid fall down his back.
He felt the metal rip down his back, and the leave. Melody stepped back and Alexander fell to the floor, "I always knew you were an idiot, Alexander." She chuckled. "I'll see you on the other side, my dear DEAR Alexander."
Alexander looked up at the girl in horror, tears streaming down his face. Her hands were covered in his blood, and the sinister smile didn't look right on her face. Alexander was about to call for the others, but it was to late. She slit his throat, silencing him. Forever.
