Let's dance

He is gone

"Did you always like to dance?" Magnus asked while he was playing with Alecs fingers. They laid on the bed and Alec was between Magnus legs looking out of the window. "Yeah...I don't think there is a special reason why I like it so much but I just do. It's a way to escape from reality." Alec answered thoughtfully and Magnus guessed that Alec liked to escpape the reality a lot. "And you?" Alec asked gripping Magnus hand tightly and Magnus smiled at their hands. "Uhm...I just liked it because my dad liked it too." Magnus answered thinking about the time he had with his dad and how much he lost with the death of his dad. "Cool...I think..." Alec was cut off from Magnus phone which was ringing and Magnus quickly took it from the nightstand to see who it was. "It's Mike. I need to talk with him." Magnus said and Alec smiled before he nodded with a smile. "Hello...oh...yes please tell me and send them me." Magnus answered and Alec looked at him with a little frown. Alec could see that the calm expression changed into a shocked and worried expression but only for two seconds before it remind calm again. "Sure...thanks, Mike." Magnus said and hung up the phone smiling weakly at Alec. "What is it? Is everything okay?" Alec asked worried and sat up to completely face Magnus. "You ask me to get information about William...what I did." Magnus answered looking down at the sheets and Alecs heart stopped. Was William here? "Can you please tell me what's wrong?" Alec asked with a pleading look and Magnus nodded taking Alecs hand again but he didn't look at him. "Mike...he found out that William is dead. He considered suicide 2 years ago after he was prisoned because of rape." Magnus answered now meeting Alecs eyes and Alec just looked with a lost look at Magnus. "Wha...he...I don't..." Alec stuttered but he didn't get out the words and Magnus squeezed Alecs hand to comfort him. "William...he rapped another guy...only a few months after...the guy went to the police and William was put into jail." Magnus explained and Alecs eyes slowly got wet but he tried to blink the tears back. Alec didn't cry because William was dead but he cried because he felt guilty. He could have stopped William if he just went to the police and now someone went through the same hell as he because he was so ashamed and couldn't swallow his pride. It hurt him like someone just stabbed him with a knife that someone had to go through all the same because he was selfish. "Do you think it's my fault?" Alec asked with a smal voice looking down on the sheets not daring to look in Magnus eyes. Would Magnus hate him now? Would Magnus leave him now? Alecs old doubts grew again and started to eat their way to his heart. "What the hell? Alexander, I could never balme you for this!" Magnus almsot yelled and Alecs head snapped up letting Magnus see his teary eyes. "Oh Alexander." Magnus said softly and placed his hand on Alecs cheek smiling weakly at him. "This wasn't your fault. William would have done it again if you went to the police or not. Also Mike told me he was sick...this isn't an excuse and to be honest I hope he burns in hell but no matter what he would have found his way." Magnus said with a soft voice and Alec let a few tears escape his eyes. "He...he was sick?" Alec asked with a trembling voice and Magnus nodded letting his hand sliding down on Alecs neck. "He had really bad mentalhealth issues and in the end he took his own life." Magnus answered and Alec felt relieved that this person wasn't on this earth anymore. "Do...do you have a name of the guy...he..." Alec asked not trusting his own voice anymore and tried to stop the tears. "Yeah...why?" Magnus answered and Alec thought about it but he was pretty sure. "I want to meet him...I want to apoligize...I need that." Alec said making Magnus frown but Magnus also understood it somehow. "You...you're sure?" Magnus asked just making sure Alec thought about it and didn't force himself. He just wanted to help Alec and make him happy again but he wasn't really sure how. Maybe he needed to meet that guy and maybe he needed to apologize even it wasn't his fault.
"Yes. I'm sure." Alec answered and then it suddenly really hit him. Tears ran freely down his cheeks because only now he realized that the one person who ruined his life was gone. The one person that made Alec go through hell left this earth and would never come back. This one person who made Alecs life misserable would never be a part of Alecs life again and would never hurt him again. "Hei...it's okay...I'm here." Magnus said softly when little sobs came out of Alecs lips and Magnus quickly wrapped his arms around Alecs body. "He won't ever hurt you again...he is gone." Magnus added and let Alec sob in his arms because it was just a way to heal. Alec had to let it out and Magnus would always be there for him. "Just take deep breaths...concentrate on something good. Think of one moment that made you happy and hold on to that." Magnus said softly and gently rubbed Alecs back to comfort him. Alec closed his eyes and thought about one moment he was happy. There weren't a lot but Magnus was in the most of them with his smile and beautiful brown eyes. "Thank you...Magnus." Alec sniffed and usually he would be feeling stupid to cry in front of someone but he didn't. He didn't even felt embaressed because he knew Magnus would never judge him but what was more important that in Magnus arms...he felt save...//
