"But you would have recognized him, wouldn't you?" Alec asked hoping that this wasn't true and Magnus shrugged. "He and Jadon have some things in common. Like they both have a sharp jawline but that's all and of course I would recognize him. He can't change that much...if he is still alive." Magnus answered and even thinking that his best friend was alive was sick but there were so many things which just couldn't be a coincidence. "Magnus, you need to stay calm, okay? We will tell Noah and Mark so they can try to find out more. We will figure this out like we always do, okay?" Alec asked cupping Magnus face with his hands and Magnus sighed a bit. "What if he is alive? Why did he do this? Why did he fake his own death? Why did he let me believe one of the most important person in my life is dead?" Magnus questioned while tears tried to escape his eyes but he tried to be strong and Alec wrapped his arms around him. "These are question you can ask him when we know if he is really alive. I'm sure he has his reasons. I'm so sorry you have to go through this, Babe." Alec answered softly and caressed Magnus back with his hands to comfort him. "At least I'm not alone." Magnus mumbled buring his face in Alecs neck and Alec smiled a little. "You will never be alone...I promise you." Alec smiled softly placing a light kiss on the side of Magnus head and Magnus took a deep breath. "You want me to stay over at your place, today?" Alec asked after he just held Magnus for a while and Magnus nodded smiling a little. He really didn't want to be alone tonight and Alecs presence never faild to make him calm. That was just a moment of their relationship that showed Magnus wasn't only strong for Alec but also the other way around. "Thanks...for being here for me and not thinking I'm crazy." Magnus said a little shyer than he usually was and Alec pulled back from the hug before he placed a soft kiss on Magnus lips. "I will always be there for you. Like you are here for me." Alec answered loving that this time he could make Magnus blush a little but he was still worried. If Jadon was really alive Alec would make sure to punch him first for hurting Magnus and maybe then he could get to know him. It was really crazy to have thoughts like these but it wouldn't be their life if it was normal. "My head is already hurting from all the thinking." Magnus sighed reaching to his head and rubbing it a bit. "Then we just need to distract you." Alec answered and even a small smirk was drawn on his lips. Right now Alec would do everything to just shut Magnus brain up for a few minutes and Magnus really appriciated that. "Mmh...what do you have in mind?" Magnus asked with a low voice and Alec wrapped his arms around Magnus neck shrugging slightly. "We could take a shower...or we could do other things." Alec answered pretty confident to Magnus but also to his own surprise and Magnus let out a soft chuckle. "What did just happen with the innocent Alexander?" Magnus asked teasingly and even if Alec blushed a bit he had a great answer. "He met you." As sassy as usual Alec answered and Magnus chuckled before he grabbed Alec under his thighs. Magnus lifted Alec up and Alec didn't need a second to wrapp his legs around Magnus waist. Alec giggled a little before Magnus shut him up with a breathtaking kiss. "Mhh...you taste really good." Magnus mumbled in the kiss making Alec giggle again and Magnus had to laugh too because of the sweet giggle noises Alec made. A loud knock interrupted them before they could continue and Magnus let a groaning Alec down. "Don't be too grumpy...we will continue later." Magnus chuckled and Alec blushed a little but he was also looking really forward. "Dinner is ready." They figured out it was Robert who knocked and Alec knew it wasn't Roberts fault but he was a bit mad that he interrupted them. "Don't forget that the Emmys start tomorrow at 6pm." Robert told them when they sat around the table and Izzy laughed. "As if they could forget the Emmys." Izzy chuckled but the look Alec and Magnus shared proved her wrong. "Oh my god...you two are unbelievable." Izzy said while she shook her head and only now Alec realized the empty seat. "Where is Jace?" Alec asked with a frown and Magnus also looked at the others with a questioning look. "He went out with friends to get his head free a little." Robert answered with a heavy sigh and Alec rose an eyebrown. He didn't talk with his dad about Jace mom yet but he wasn't mad at his dad anyway. Robert did everything to protect his children and that was something Alec admired him for. "I hope he can enjoy himself for a while. He seemed off the last few days and the break up with Clary seemes to really hurt him...I dont understand why he did that anyway. She was such a nice girl." Maryse said while she helped Max to put food on his plate and Alec smiled oddly. "Well...I'm sure they will find their way back to each other. There is something that tells me they can't ignore each other forever." Alec answered knowing way more than his mom and earned a little kick with a foot from Magnus. Alec gave Magnus a short glance and then brought his attention back to his food. "What do you mean?" Maryse asked confused and Alec shook his head acting like he didn't know anything. "Nothing...they just seem to be made for each other." Alec answered with a shrug and Magnus had to hold back a little laugh that was fighting to come out.
