Let's dance

Max

Magnus was on his way to the dance studio for another training session with Alec. After the incident 2 weeks ago everything was fine again even Alec was still weird around Magnus. Magnus also felt that with the time Alec got more relaxed and he looked forward to the training everyday. Usually they trained from 8am till 2pm or sometimes longer depending on how much energy they had. Usually Magnus was totally excited to train but today was different and he didn't really feel like dancing. Today he had to force himself out of the bed and he felt not really in the mood but still he didn't want to miss training with Alec. The fact that Alec is gay made Magnus weirdly happy but he didn't make any move even he thought Alec was really beautiful. After all Magnus just got out of a relationship and the wounds should heal first before he found something new. Also Alec didn't make the impression that he wanted a relationship either so he simply focused on a good friendship. Even Magnus didn't want to break his head about this he still thought that Alec wasn't really trusting him. Magnus wasn't quiet sure why but something made Alec nervous whenever they were close and he sensed that Alec was also a little uncomfortable. Magnus stopped the car in front of the studio and looked in the mirror seeing that he looked like a mess. His hair was messy and not on point like usually also his eyes were red and even a little puffy. Today a year ago Magnus got the call that his best friend overdosed and was in the hospital now. Even he only died a few months later after he was in a coma it still felt like it was that moment Magnus lost his best friend...a part of himself. Magnus got out and walked to the door trying to ignor the pain in his heart. There wasn't on day he didn't miss his best friend but today the pain was stronger. But he still decided to go and train because he needed distraction and training with Alec was always a good option. He didn't think he would forgive Alec so easily but one look in Alecs hazel eyes and the pain was gone. "Pumking, come here." Magnus heard Alec yelling causing Magnus to feel already a little bit better. Magnus couldn't fight the little smile that was making his way to Magnus lips and he was glad that he was still dancing with Alec. "Maagggnuss." Suddenly a little voice yelled and little Max ran towards Magnus with a huge grin. Max was adorable and Magnus was even happier to see him again after he didn't see him for almost a week. "Hei, little man." Magnus chuckled and picked Max up from the ground making Max giggled. "I missed you." Max said with a pout making him look even more adorable. "Hey, I hope you don't mind that he is here...he went on my nerves the whole week that...are you okay?" Alec cut his own sencten up when he saw how terrible Magus looked actually. Magnus looked still beautiful in Alecs eyes and it still made his heart flatter when he saw him but he didn't like that Magnus looked like he cried the whole night. "Yeah...nothing to worry about." Magnus answered forcing a smile on his lips and catching Max frown from the corner of his eye. "Lying is bad. You don't want to go to hell do you?" Max asked with a serious voice and Magnus looked confused at Max. "Max, hell doesn't exist. Go and play with Pumpkin for a while, okay?" Alec answered trying to find a minute to talk with Magnus alone. "Fine..." Max sighed dramatically and Magnus let Max down to the ground still stunned by Max words. "Sorry...he can be...yeah." Alec stuttered not really sure what to say about his little brother because Max was Max. "Don't apologize...it makes him somehow more adorable." Magnus chuckled and looked at Max who was playing with Pumkin. Magnus got used that the dogs were always there and he also thought that they were really beautiful creatures. Magnus remembered when Jadon came home with a little puppy. The puppy became one of Jadons best friends and were Jadon was there was also his dog. After Jadon died Magnus found a nice place for the dog so he knew the dog would always be okay. Sometimes he thought about taking the dog to his place because it was the only thing he had left from the old Jadon but Magnus never had the time for a dog. "Magnus...hey? You're sure you are okay?" Alec asked and Magnus realized he zoned out a little. Magnus shook his head trying to push these thoughts away and smiling at Alec. "Sure...why wouldn't I be?" Magnus asked with a fake smile and his heart stopped when Alec made a step towards him. There were still a few inches between them but Magnus could already feel the warmth of Alecs body. Alecs heart was almost beating out of his chest while he rose his right hand and slowly moved it closer to Magnus face. He carefully whipped with his thumb a single tear away that was slipping out of Magnus eye while he zoned out. Alec knew something was not okay but he wouldn't push Magnus because Magnus didn't push him either. "When you need to talk...I'm here." Alec said with a soft and low voice pulling his hand slowly away from Magnus face who didn't say anything. Magnus skin tangled because of Alecs touch and he felt a warm feeling in his stomach. Magnus didn't feel the tear that was rolling down his cheek until Alec whipped it away and he thanked god there was one. He sighed a little and closed his eyes for a few seconds not really trusting his own voice. "Jadon...my friend overdosed today a year ago...I guess I miss him more than I think." Magnus said after a few more seconds with a quiet and cracking voice. Alec didn't know what to do but he heated to see Magnus so hurt and vulnerable. "I'm sorry." Alec said with a weak smile and looked in Magnus beautiful brown eyes which looked so sad right now. "It has been a year...I should be over it. God, I am so pathetic." Magnus sighed and placed his hands in front of his face trying to his his embaressement. Alec didn't want Magnus to feel that way and he took Magnus hands carefully out of his face to see his eyes again. "It's okay to still be sad. He was your friend...it will take more than just a year to live with it." Alec said with a warm smile and was still holding Magnus hands. In that moment Alec didn't feel any fear to be close to Magnus or even touch him. Magnus looked at his hands and back in Alecs hazel eyes. Maybe Alec wasn't scared because Max was there or because of Bear but maybe he got more used to Magnus than he thought. Alecs hands felt so soft around Magnus hands and it gave Magnus a fuzzy feeling in his stomach. Alec felt weird sparks in his stomach because of Magnus touch and his heart was beating quickly but not in a way that freaked him out. No one said a single words and they just started in the eyes of the other one not quiet sure what was happening. "Alec, look." Suddenly Max yelled and brought both of them back to earth. Alec was the fisrt one to pull his hands back and Magnus shook his head trying to get out of the moment. What the hell did just happened with them?...//tbc This time it was Max instead of Jace😂 sorry for not posting yesterday but the chapter wouldn't be like that if I did.💕💕💕💕
