What if?

"You wanna go in the water?" Alec asked when they laid in the sun for a while and Bear was lying in a shady place. "Yes!" Magnus said happily and jumped up from the ground making Alec laugh. "Can he swim?" Magnus asked pointing at Bear and Alec nodded with a smile. "He loves the water."  Alec answered and got up too. They walked to the water and Alec buried his toes in the sand feeling the water surround his feet. "I like that." Magnus said when he stood next to Alec and they looked to the horizon. "Yes...I like it too." Alec answered with a soft smile on his lips and being happy about how great he was feeling. Suddenly he felt water hitting his back and turned around to see Magnus was splashing the water at him. "Hei!" Alec pouted making Magnus chuckle and he only splashed more water at Alecs stomach. "I'll get you for that." Alec smirked and started to ran but Magnus also started to ran. Alec was chashing after Magnus and both were laughing loudly totally out of breath already. "I'm faster." Magnus yelled and Alec chuckled stopping to ran. He totally forgot to eat this moring because he was so nervous and now he felt a bit dizzy. Magnus saw that Alec didn't look alright and quickly walked back to Alec. "Alexander, are you okay?" Magnus asked worried and placed a hand on Alecs back. "Yeah...I just need to sit down for a few minutes." Alec answered and slwoly sunk down to the ground still a bit out of breath. "I'll get you something to drink and a snack." Magnus said and ran back to their spot Bear staying by Alecs side. Magnus came back with water and a sandwich for Alec who smiled thankfully at him. "Thank you." Alec whispered even he didn't have to and opened the waterbottle while Magnus sat down next to him. "I thought we could meet that guy tomorrow." Magnus suddenly said and Alec almsot chocked on his sandwitch. "You want to go with me?" Alec asked confused because he really didn't expect Magnus to come with him. "Yeah...look you are really important to me and I want to be there for you, Alexander." Magnus answered softly and Alecs heart skipped a beat when he heard Magnus answer. "I'm glad that you will go with me." Alec smiled and took Magnus hand who felt a wave of electricity going through his body. "Do you know what I really like?" Alec asked and shyly laid his head down on Magnus shoulders. They sat side by side and Magnus was leaning a bit back supporting himself with his hands. "What is it?" Magnus answered curiously and smiled when Alec laid his head down on his shoulder. "That I can be myself around you and don't need to pretend to be someone I'm not. I don't have to pretend I'm strong or happy...even righ I'm pretty happy right now." Alec said making Magnus heart melt and Magnus squeezed Alecs hand. Magnus realized that he never really told Alec anything about himself and thought it would only be fair if he did. "I lived in a really poor part of Indonesia...my parents did everything to give me everything I needed. My dad...he...he got shot on the street when I was 14. I used to dance with him and after he died dancing was the way I still felt he was there. My mom...she never got over the lost and considered suicide when I was 16." Magnus started to talk and felt the lump in his throat when he talked about the lost of his parents. He could feel how Alec tensed a bit but he could also feel Alecs thumb gently caressing his hand. "After the death of my mother nothing was holding me back from leaving anymore. I left Indonesia and went to New York where I went to highschool 2 years...it wasn't easy at first because I didn't understand anything. Everything was new and I had 3 jobs to get enough mony for a home." Magnus continued and looked in the nothing smiling sadly to himself. "I wasn't really the child people would talk with and I stayed by myself usually. One of the jocks saw me dancing and that's when the bullying started but then I saw you in the tv. You were my inspiration and somehow you gave me strenght to hold on to my dream to become an actor."
Magnus made a little break because talking about his past brought memories up he didn't want to remember. "I'm glad you came here...I also think now it all makes sense...or it makes it easier for me to accept some things." Alec suddenly said and lifted his head to look in Magnus beautiful eyes. "What do you mean?" Magnus asked with a little frown and Alec smiled weakly at Magnus. "I started to think about what would have happen if William hadn't rapped me. Would I be famous now? Would I be the best dancer like I wanted to be? But one thing won't leave me." Alec answered now staring instensly in Magnus eyes who was a bit confused. "What is it?" Magnus asked and Alec shyly cupped Magnus face with his hands. "I wouldn't have met you and I don't think I would be as happy as I'm now." Alec answered and moved closer connecting their lips. Magnus closed his eyes and placed his hands on Alecs bare chest. Alec didn't even care about the touch because it was Magnus and Magnus wouldn't hurt him. "I think I would have met you anyway." Magnus said with a low voice when they pulled back and Alec smiled softly at him. "I can't believ people could be mean to someone like you." Alec sighed and his hands slipped down to Magnus neck. "People are curle but in the end they only made me stronger." Magnus answered with a little smile and Alec smiled back at him now feeling even closer with Magnus because he knew more about him now. It was this slow development  Alec and Magnus enjoyed and how their feelings grew faster than they realized...///tbc this chapter is a bit shitty but still I hope you like it💕💕💕💕😞
