A Contract?

"Thanks...for today." Alec said when they stood outside of the house waiting for Magnus driver. "You don't have to thank me, Alexander." Magnus answered with a soft smile and Alec took shyly Magnus hand. "I have to...you give me something back I thought I lost forever." Alec said and Magnus looked deep in Alecs eyes getting lost in the beautiful ocean of colors. "Then I'm really happy that I could help you." Magnus answered with a proud smile and placed a soft kiss on Alecs lips. Alec didn't even flinch and just relaxed in the kiss forgetting about his past for a short moment. They heard a car and both pulled back with rosie cheeks while smiling shyly at each other. "Text me when you're home, okay?" Alec asked and Magnus smiled before he nodded. "I see you tomorrow at 8?" Magnus asked when they walked slowly to the car. "Of course. Good night, Magnus." Alec answered with a soft smile and placed a last kiss on his lips blushing even more. "Good night, Alexander." Magnus said a little lost but he quickly got inside the car. "Hello, Mr. Bane." The driver said and Magnus blinked a few times coming back from his high. "Hello, Mike." Magnus answered with a bright smile that wouldn't leave his lips. "Mike, could you do something for me?" Magnus asked after a few seconds of comfortable silence. "Sure, Mr. Bane. What is it?" Mike asked and looked in the back mirror locking eyes with Magnus. "Can you find a William Tanner for me? He lived in Manhattan and went to the Columbia college. He should be 24 now." Magnus explained and told Mike all the information Alec gave him when they talked. "I will try my best, Mr. Bane." Mike said with a smile and Mike knew better than to ask why but that's what Magnus liked about him. "Mr. Bane, I know this is non of my buisness but did Mr. Lightwood sign the contract?" Mike asked not taking his eyes away from the rode and Magnus tensed a little. Everyone Magnus had been with in the last 4 years had to sign an contract to keep everything of Magnus privat life out of the public. But did Alec need that? Alec told Magnus everything about him and he didn't ask Magnus to sign a contract first. On the other hand Magnus also trusted Alec more than the people before and Alec trusted him too. "No and he won't need that." Magnus answered firmly and Mike nodded but Magnus could see that Mike wasn't really happy with that. "He is different, Mike. He trusts me with his secrets even I didn't sign a contract. Mike, it's really nice of you to worry about that but I trust him and he is different." Magnus resured his driver and the head of his security team since 4 years. "That's really good to hear, Mr. Bane." Mike answerd with a smile and Magnus rose an eyebrow before he smiled at Mike. "Please call me Magnus, Mike. We know each other for so long so please don't Mr. me." Magnus said with a little chuckle and Mike smiled too. "This guy changes you, Mr...Magnus." Mike said and Magnus frowned first but then his face softened. "In good ways I hope." Magnus said jokingly and Mike chuckled a little. "Yes. In the best ways." Mike answered with a smile keeping his eyes on the rode and Magnus smiled brightly. "You seem happier...maybe even a bit nicer..." Mike added a bit hesitantly and Magnus gasp a bit. "Does that mean I wasn't nice before?" Magnus asked putting a hand on his chest and Mike chuckled again. "No. But you got even a bit nicer...Mr. Lightwood seems nice too." Mike answered and pulled the car down at Magnus house. "Yeah. He is a really nice guy...and you will see more of him now. Can you call me as soon as you get information about that William?" Magnus asked when he got out of the car and Mike nodded. "Sure. I will start tomorrow moring and I think we will get some information by the end of the day." Mike answered with a smile and they said their goodbyes before Magnus went inside the house. Magnus went quickly to his bathroom and took a quick shower the big smile not leaving his face for even a second.  Magnus didn't even thought about putting anything else on than Alecs shirt and just boxers. Magnus laid down getting comfortable in his bed and thinking about today. Suddenly a wave of sadness and anger came over Magnus mind. He was so angry that something like that happened to Alec and he was sad because he was afraid he couldn't help Alec. Of course Magnus would do everything to make Alec happy and enjoy his life but he was only human. It would be a long process for Alec to be completely happy again but Magnus would be there for him on every step of this way. Magnus also knew Alec only wasn't happy because he didn't start healing yet. Alec kept all the emotion in the inside not allowing himself to process the traumatic experience but today was a huge step in the right direction. Magnus also guessed that knowing this guy was still out there and Alec could meet him every second didn't help. That was why  Magnus suggested to find out where this guy was because if Alec knew where this guy was he could stay away from him. Sadly it was too long ago so the guy couldn't be punished for his action anymore but at least they knew where he was. Magnus was also really happy and proud that Alec was getting more comfortable around him. He also had to admint that the feeling he had around Alec were new for him too. He always felt so shy around him and got a warm feeling in his stomach making his knees weak.
