They reached the resrurant and Magnus could feel that Alec was pretty nervous. "Are you afraid of the photographers?" Magnus asked softly and gave Alecs hand a comforting squeeze but Alec shook his head. "No...just...what if they will take a ugly picture of me...like a really ugly one." Alec told Magnus his fears and even Magnus now didn't think like that anymore his younger self did the same as Alec. "Alexander, first I will tell you that you look way to good that they can even take an ugly picture of you. But I also know how you feel because when I was confronted with all the photographers for the first time I just wanted to put a bag over my head. I'll be by your side the whole time and if they take a picture you really aren't happy with we can talk with Ragnor who can do things so they won't be allowed to publish the picture anymore." Magnus answered and could feel how Alec got a bit more relaxed. "Do you have any tips for a nervous mess like me?" Alec asked with a small shy smile and Magnus caressed Alecs hand with his thumb. "You can keep your head down so they won't blind you with the flashlights and remember that if they will do anything that will make you feel uncomfortable I will make them regrett it." Magnus answered with a calm voice that really made him sound like he was 100% serious about it. "That's good to know." Alec chuckled and placed a kiss on Magnus cheek to say thank you. "Okay you two wait in the car. We will build a way through the crowd and Magnus I would really apricate it if you let me do the whole bone breaking stuff." Mark suddenly said and turned around to look at Magnus and Alec. "Sure...sure. But I think you can already scare them away with that killer look..." Magnus answered but was just mumbling the last part and Alec giggled a little but stopped when he realized Mark heard it too. "Not funny but we will talk later about that. I will open the door when you can get out." Mark said with a firm voice and a whine left Magnus lips because he didn't want another lecture to bore him to death. "He is like a grumpy father." Alec chuckled and Magnus nodded agreeing but he was still glad to have Mark. "Yeah but still I will miss him a bit...okay maybe I will visit him sometimes." Magnus answered and Alec smiled at him with this soft smile lit up the world. "Mh...I'm sure he would love that. He may be an old grumpy man but he has also a warm heart...even he can kill you with a look." Alec answered shivering in the end when he thought about Marks death glare. "Oh believe me your death glare is way scarrier  than his." Magnus answered and Alec frowned at him not quiet sure what he meant. "Don't look at me! It is true." Magnus deffended himself and Alec was just about to complain when there was a knock on the window. "Ready?" Magnus asked and Alec nodded taking a deep breath to calm himself down a little. Mark opened the car for them and in the second it was open flashlight drung in the car making Alec blink in disscomfort. Magnus got out first and then held out a hand for Alec who took it gladly and got also out with Magnus help. Alec did what Magnus told him and kept his head down but his head snapped up when one photographer made a bit an unpleasant comment. He saw Magnus huge eyeroll and that made him smile again. He let Magnus led him inside the resturant and when they were inside Magnus turned around looking concerned at Alec. "Are you okay? Do you want me to kill him? I can..." "Magnus, it's fine. He is just a stupid guy who still lives in the 18th century." Alec cut Magnus oft lifting his hand a little to stop Magnus from talking and Magnus was really relieved Alec took it easy. "But thanks. It's really nice to know that someone would kill for me." Alec added with a soft chuckle and Magnus smiled softly at him even with a rosie color on his cheek. "Excuse me, Mr. Bane, Mr. Lightwood. I would like to show you your table." Suddenly a woman said who stood in front of them and she was smiling at them."Oh sure." Magnus answered and the two of them followed the woman who was walking to the back of the resturant. "We thought you would like  to have it a bit more privat." The woman smiled when she showed them their table which was a bit future away from the others. There were candels on the table and a lot of glasses for all different kind of wines. "Thanks, that's really nice of you." Magnus answered and pulled Alecs chair back like a gentelman. Alec was blushing furiously but sat down on the chair and Magnus pushed Alec gently to the table with the chair. "These are the menues. Is there anything I can already do for you?" The woman asked and Alec couldn't think of something but Magnus did. "Yes, could you please bring us a chardonnay?" Magnus answered with a smile and the woman nodded. "Of course. I will bring you the wine and you can think about what you want to order." The woman said before she left the two of them alone. "This is really beautiful...thanks for taking me here." Alec smiled shyly at Magnus who smiled back. "No problem, Alexander. I love to take you out." Magnus answered making Alec blush again and a small chuckl left Magnus lips.
